Andhra scene is completely different from the Gwalior/Agra/Rajasthan scene. There is a community called "Nat" which is in UP and Rajasthan. They are traditionally into entertainment and sex business. Similarly, other community in MP. These communities have over centuries perfected the art of making the patrons pay heavily for their service. They live in lavish houses and there is competition among villagers as to who can show off wealth more. The weddings in these families are a grand affair, something middle class and upper middle class people can not dream of.(Weddings do take place. Few women are married off within their community and don't enter the trade) The economics is staggering. Here this community exploits the goodness in you or panders to your ego and traps you to spend abnormal amounts.

In Andhra, it is abject poverty that strikes you. A DB/OB patron will never want to exploit these villagers ( No offence meant to anyone!). It is heart wrenching to see young girls and families wanting to sell themselves for your pleasure. Once a patron enters their hut, he keeps his chappals outside the door. The males do not enter the house until the chappals are there. Here, the patrons exploit the poor villagers.
If I had the power, I would have brought special schemes to uplift these Andhra villagers.

Exploitation is there in almost every 3rd world country and in most parts of rural India it still exists.

In places like Peddapuram, there is little or no poverty. Their houses will put an upper middle class guy to shame.

In mongering there is no differentiation between SB, DB, OB or brothel patrons. If the conscience is getting pricked, then even spending in DB n OB plus wooing these bar girls is 'exploitation'.

Technically speaking, where ever prostitution n such entertainment is not legalized, spending money to acquire ladies services is too a form of exploitation.

You are right.
Kamna is of body and mind. We are eternal soul which stays in body driven by mind, but how does soul will become free to achieve peace ? For that we need to calm down mind and body desires. Unfulfilled desires are attached to soul and brings soul back in body. We suppress our desires through out life for social, personal reasons and that’s why never achieve peace.
One who realise this fact lives happily and dies happily.

While i agree with your basic premise, i beg to differ on the point that exploitation of OB girls is anywhere near as that of those in service bars or those in prostituition dens like Kamathipura. The degree of exploitation, the existence of free will and alternatives makes a big difference. There is reverse exploitation in some cases, where OB girls bleed the patron dry. A friend of mine, who had visited this village in Andhra, told me about the situation there. This was ten years ago. May be things have changed but I frankly doubt it.
My conscience gets pricked if I feel that I am exploiting someone. I never want to do that. I have paid many girls without taking their service, when I felt that the girl is not willing. Many mongers have done that. The reason, I monger is to have a good time. I can't imagine having a good time by exploiting another person.
Bro, this is my opinion and every person can have a different take on this. If a OB girl gets flat gifted in Navi Mumbai and an imported car, I do not feel that she is getting exploited.
