How dependable are China's Budget Airlines

yes it is of course a bit off topic, but what the hell...
In Germany we complain about 4.500 fatlities in 2009. That is 0,005 percent of the population in Germany
Your figures for the US look even slightly better, being 0,0049 percent.
But I have to make an amandment to my originally quoted figutre, as I have reread the article and saw that I had memorized the figure WRONG:
According to a report in CCTV the traffic accident deaths totalled 106.000 in 2009. A higher figure is assumed (not on CCTV!). This is not so bad, when you put this figure into relation to a population of 1 billion people, it is only 0,00011 percent
Chinese authorities attribute the high number of deaths with new roads, being added to the existing, more traffic, driving without licence, alcohol, overloading, speeding and dangerous overtaking etc.
An increase of fatalities is to be expected as long as the infrastructure is expanded and the number of motor vehicles in China increases in the way it does at present (tremendously!).
One point to be added is the use of taxies is a real pain.
As fluckyluke mentioned the taxies sometimes drive like crazy.
What makes it even worse, is, that you can´t use the sealtbelts, that are even installed in Chinese taxies.
Either they are hidden below a protective cover which is drawon over the rear-seats, OR the belts are so fucking dirty, that you spoil yur suit when trying to use them. The dirt, by the way, is all the dust that accumulates on objects which are in traffic and are never used (i.e. seatbelts by Chinese people, who seem to think, they are invincible...).

Yes, had a look at the site a couple of days ago but wanted feedback/comments from people who have flown these airlines.
Also looking for the best way to get from Shenzen to ـrümqi. I was told it was too expensive to book ahead of time and the best thing to do was to actually buy the tickets in china a few days before.
Also, are all the budget airline sites in china all in chinese??
