We are seeking an ideal candidate for the position of Spa Attendant at Hot Rock Spa. As a Spa Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our valued clients.
-Greet clients, inquire about their appointment status, and relay relevant information to the associated spa therapist. -Prepare spa facilities by ensuring all supplies and equipment are available and laid out according to procedures. -Prepare the steam room, including fire-starting, maintaining the fire in the woodstove, and pre-heating the steam room to the proper temperature. -Oversee the cleanliness and sanitization of the premises, ensuring proper disposal of waste materials. -Deal with guest inquiries and provide information in-person. -Replenish supplies required for massages, facials, and manicures on a regular basis. -Coordinate efforts to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of supplies and equipment. -Distribute linen, such as fresh sheets and towels, in treatment rooms and assist in laundry duties, such as washing and drying towels and aprons. -Sanitize bathrooms, grooming rooms, and wet areas according to the spa management's standards. -Instruct clients on where they can change their clothes and assign lockers to them. -Assume responsibility for opening and closing the spa at designated times. -Assist the Sauna-Master during steam room treatments. -Assist licensed therapists and beauticians during lounge area treatments. -Provide services in the steam room, including air wrapping and aromatherapy, after proper training. -Optionally learn and provide other spa services to clients (except the services requiring a special license in Ontario) after proper training.
Hobbies. Candidates with hobbies such as yoga, sports, or spiritual practices are considered advantageous.
Skin Contact considerations. The work of a Sauna Attendant at Hot Rock Spa involves hand-to-skin contact with clients during specific treatments. It is important for candidates to be comfortable with this aspect of the job. Please note that all interactions will be conducted in a professional and respectful manner, adhering to the highest standards of client comfort and confidentiality.
Security. The police record check should be performed for each successful candidate.
$25/hr - 3-5 hour shifts - contract
