WENATCHEE — The former operator of two Wenatchee massage parlors police believe were used for prostitution was booked into the Chelan County jail Wednesday following a year on the run.

Linhui Yan, 61, former operator of two Wenatchee massage parlors police believe were used for prostitution, had his preliminary hear Thursday afternoon at the Chelan County Courthouse. Yan was arrested Wednesday in Pierce County, according to a return of arrest warrant filed in Chelan County Superior Court. Investigators say Yan and his wife, Yan Yang, 45, used the parlors to profit from prostitution and human trafficking. Yang’s exact whereabouts are not clear.
