WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Update: Wichita police say a 44-year-old man is dead and a 70-year-old is in critical condition after a shooting near Lincoln and George Washington Blvd.

Officers were called to a massage parlor at 2723 Boulevard Plaza around 3:30 p.m. On the scene, they found the two men with gunshot wounds. The younger man was pronounced dead on the scene. The older man was taken to the hospital and rushed into where surgery. He’s expected to survive.

Police said there were three people inside the massage parlor, which was open for business when multiple shots were fired.

Investigators are working to determine what led up to the deadly incident.

Two people have suffered critical injuries in a shooting in southeast Wichita.

Sedgwick County dispatchers confirmed the shooting is located in the 2700 block of Boulevard Plaza, that is near Lincoln and George Washington Blvd.

12 News has a crew headed to the scene.
