I was talking with a sex worker after our session, and she told me she's a refugee from Romania. Has anyone else experienced this? I’m wondering if she might be a fake refugee, and that’s why I’m asking here.

Had met with an Iranian refugee in one of the top agencies. She was checking with me on options to get a citizenship.

Iran is an Islamic shithole, but there are still plenty of people who immigrate here legally from there, not everyone in the country is under threat.

On the other hand Romania is in Europe, and people can move there and have a decent life – probably even better than what some experience here under Justin Trudeau’s Canada. So I’m having a hard time believing there are legit refugees from Romania, and that's why I started this thread.

When they are paid $5000 -8000 per month for a year from Fed and then provincial don't think refugees need do to all this

Of course it is completely normal. Justin Trudeau opened Canada to everyone from everywhere. People from the US claimed refugee status, let alone people from the Romania. The sad fact is for an engineer or doctor, nurse it will take 5 years to immigrate legally to Canada. However, currently everybody (including criminals) from any where just can jump in an airplane and claim refugee status in an airport. Then everybody wonders: why everything is expensive and we have inflation. When a not so wise government inject 1.2 million people in 2023 alone in Canadian popultion you will have highe prices, housing shortges, a lot of homsless people, very strianed health care system ....
