That was really brave of you. I don't think I could have told any of my friends that I hobby. I have one friend who does know about my hobby and I'm grateful for her understanding and acceptance of it. It took me forever to accept myself for hobbying. It's the world's oldest profession and yet it seems it will never gain social acceptance.

Oh, BTW, off topic, but you really shouldn't brush your teeth before you see a MPA or SP. Rinsing with strong mouth wash is good enough. The problem with brushing is that it can open micro cuts on your gums which can expose you to the risk of infection while you DFK or DATY.

It is a lonely hobby, I only have you guys to talk to about it. My younger self would not have had a good opinion of what I am doing now. My friends would not approve or they would be jealous. Kudos to you to advocating respect for MPAs, they are human beings. These days I am down to fuck, but I am always respectful, always a gentleman, always respect boundaries.

I have one friend who knows and asks me about it once in a while. He participates once in a while but he is married and I am not so he tends to only stray when having marital issues. He doesn't judge as like I said, he likes to dabble and sometimes he is jealous of my situation. The funniest part is, the friend who introduced me to the spa scene has almost turned into a reformed again Christian. So he is very down on the hobby and doesn't approve. I could care less if he does or not because I know what he was like not too many years ago so his trying to pretend he wasn't one of the biggest boozers and hounds chasing everything in a skirt doesn't fly with me and I let him know it anytime he tries to judge. Rest of my friends are mostly ignorant and I don't bring it up. I don't feel the need to brag about sex so when friends start talking about it I just stay quiet and mind my own business, only time I came close to breaking my silence was when the topic rolled around to threesomes, most of my friends have never been in one and I really wanted to tell about the two Colombian chicas I was with one time, it is actually a great story. The one friend who knows and I told the story nearly fell off his chair when I was telling him the story. He has been trying to figure out how to arrange it for himself but hasn't been able to sneak away from the wife long enough to leave the country for a week or so.

Best thing, keep it quiet and just enjoy the ride. If you have to get it out, come onto boards like this where you can anonymously post and get it out.

I have two friends who I can talk about this openly. In both of those friendships are a mix of addiction support group and rationalization/normalization. Basically telling each other "There's nothing really that wrong with it... But probably not a good idea to go too often from a financial and health perspective." I have hilarious stories that I can only share with those guys which sometimes seems like a shame because they're great stories.

I would never talk to anyone other than those two guys because we understand that it's a case of mutually assured destruction. No matter if we have a spiteful falling out at any point in the future, there is no situation where we would ever betray the other guy because they have as much dirt on me as I do on them.

In my younger days I went backpacking through Thailand and fucked my way across the country. When I came back home I had become so used to how normal it seemed there that I shared my exploits with some guys I thought were "cool" and they told me straight to my face that they were disgusted. Haven't made the same mistake again. Even in situations where I could sense a friend or co-worker was trying to let me know he was a hobbiest and could potentially become a fun partner in crime I've always played innocent/ignorant saying something like : "I don't judge anyone but it just never seemed worth the risk to me." I never trusted anyone enough to risk it outside of this anonymous forum. Just not worth it in my experience.
