Alpha Care Massage (Waste of Time)...

I was driving around aimlessly last night at around 10:00pm, and even though I didn't have any urge to hit up a MP, I somehow ended up at Alpha Care, due to boredom I guess?

It was my first time at Alpha Care, so I parked next door at the Mr. Greek Restaurant, then went into the building and buzzed up to the 4th floor.

I've been inside this building before but never ended up staying and thank god I didn't. I took out $120.00 to add to the existing $30.00 I had in my wallet from the ATM inside the arcade room, then this young Arab looking guy comes inside the room I was in and asked if I would like to stay. I agreed.

I didn't get to pick the girl of my choice, he said, "What kind of girls are you into?" I said one who's preferably young and brunette, and he said, "Perfect I have a sexy, young, Irish brunette for you." I was sold.

I go into the room and shower, the rooms decent, a little bit of crud on the shower floor, but I kept my toes up. Then I dried myself off and waited and waited....

I notcied that instead of the massage table being covered in towels it was covered in paper towels, which looks very cheap and ghetto, and as soon as you lie down and move around it rips allover the place.

I kept waiting, after about 15 minutes went by, after the guy told me it would be a "SHORT" wait, I put my clothes back on, went outside and asked for my door fee back, and he gladly gave me my $50.00 back.

And I went home with money in the pocket.....

I kind of feel proud for myself, b/c a lot of the times after I hit up MP's when I'm not really in the mood, just bored, I always end up having a shitty session, and going to sleep $150.00 less....and very angered.

15 minutes is not uncommon at spas although frustrating. 20 minutes is the maximum to wait ever.

AC uses the paper to cut down on the costs for washing towels. It's not the most pleasant experience but you are assured that they're changed after every session.

Well, at least you left when you had the chance, since you had to wait and weren't really in the mood. I generally like AC. The decor isn't as nice as some or some say the women(wtf).
The paper towel is like the kind on a doctor's office table. Clinical. I don't find it so bad. Like Hornet said, at least you know they're changed.

Not to defend AC (i've had mixed sessions the few times i've been) but the paper instead of the towel isnt a bad idea - realise that, even if a towel is washed, it could still contain nasty stuff - fungus, bacteria, etc - fungus especially is spread via spores (ie bread mold) and washing multiple times may not remove it all - It's temperature/time/detergent type dependent - the towels' texture is also great for holding on to stuff - the paper is 'clean' and changed each time

i would be more concerned that the table was cleaned after each use - easier to do because the surface is 'hard' (vinyl) - that way, when the paper does break, you are exposed to a cleaner surface

Getting massaged on paper though just doesn't sound nice. Even when I lie down at the doctor's office... I still hate that paper.

Next time bring some colouring pencils or crayons. Doodle on the doctor's examination table paper while you wait. If they like what they see, may be you'll be entitled to a discount as a prize or have your artwork put up on a wall! Just like at some of those old time restaurants!

I've been to AC twice and never had to wait very long. On the other hand, I've seen Kym (twice, at HFH) and she always seems to take forever. Her excuse is that the reception doesn't tell her that a client is butt-naked and waiting for her.

The second time I actually put my shirt and pants back on and was going to ask the receptionist what the H-E-double hockey sticks was going on. On the way to the front, I passed by the girls' hang out room and Kym saw me (sans footwear) and realized what was going on.

Why do I put up with this? Both times she put all her effort into compensating for the screw-up. She even ran overtime to make up for the wasted 20 minutes. I'm not sure whether she would have done that for me if it wasn't already past 21:30 - no time to sqeeze another client in. And, with me at least, she's a real sweetheart and GFE.

I don't think Kym has been reviewed yet. I hesitate to do it without asking her first. Despite the *small* frustration of being made to sit around in a towel, I really enjoyed my times with her. If my overall experiences with her had been terrible, I would have reviewed her in a heartbeat. You guys will have to wait a bit until I get back from my trip and get a chance to sample her services again as well as ask her permission.

15 minutes inside the room is a long time to wait. I would never wait that long for someonoe who I had never even seen. I have never had a good experience at Alpha Care, I wonder how it stays open.

Alphacare has had some gems over the years that have left for greener pastures (April at Allure, Samantha retired but was last at I.T.). But its just not worth it these days unless you've found your own gem there.

Over the years I have had a few decent sessions at Alpha Care, but overall the place sucks. The place is dirty, the girls (generally) are below average with bad personalities, The booking system is awful and the pics on the web site are enough to turn me off women for good... well almost. This may sound harsh, but when I am paying over $100 for a half hour I expect a little more.
