Bergamot and Grapeseed

Hiya

I have never really done much with oils, etc.

I've had the odd massage.

But the other night I dreamt of Bergamot and Honey.

So I looked up Bergamot and found out that it was very useful for myself, because it helps with oily skin and it lifts ones moods up.

Today I bought myself an essential Bergamot oil and was trying to find out which carrier oil to mix it with. I ended up buying Peach Kernal. But now through looking on this forum I see that Grapeseed is good for oily skin.

So I was just wondering, does Bergamot mix well with Grapeseed oil and does it mix well with Peach Kernal?

Iketha i'm no expert, however just last evening I used the combination u refer to - to relax and uplift. I have often used peach kernel but in a small amount along with typically almond or grapeseed. I definitely check for nut allergy before adopting a carrier. I also use calendula in small amounts to improve skin condition. Others may help you more and in case they read this reply i'll add "From time to time, even with repeat treatments on same client, the same carrier can be easy or difficulty to get to be absorbed - why? I believe I can safely eliminate body and room temperature and the nature of my strokes, but what other factors can be a determinant to good skin absorption? Yours curious!

jojoba is also very good for skin, oily or dry as it is the closest to the natural substance sebum - it is a balancer

I agree. Jojoba oil is the best choice for a carrier oil on skin.
