Have done my consultation with my client who is going to be my body in my practical tomorrow. She's feeling really quite good mentally, a little lonely as her boyfriend has moved away - phsyically she's been sufferring from hormonal fluctuations due to her contraceptive pill, PMT and outbreaks of spots, also she ran a mini marathon on Sunday and her muscles are stiff.
Sweet Marjoram - muscular aches, dispels lonliness
Geranium - hormonal balancing, sebum balancing (face)
and
Rosemary - muscular aches, refreshes and clears the mind
or
Vetiver - muscular aches, tranquil
Alternative blend thinking of is:
Basil - clarifying, muscular aches
Chamomile - PMT, skin, muscle fatigue
Lemongrass - tonifies aching muscles
Carrier oil: Calendula officinalis with prunus amygalis - antispasmodic & antiinflammatory so good for muscular aches with sweet almond oil which is protecting and nourishing to the skin.
I had nightmares last night that I went into the exam and was told my my classmates that my idea for the blend was all wrong. Basically I'm worried that the blend I have in mind may not be considered right as it may be too herbal and not varying the notes. Generally I like to have a mixture of top, middle and base notes but I often use my intuition when choosing oils - just doubting myself now as its an ITEC situation!
Advice / feedback would be appreciated : )
