Well it all depends on your particular symptoms. I'll give you an example from my own experience.
I've had menorrhagia now for years, and finally got taken seriously enough to have investigations. The consultant diagnosed adenomyosis, which is a condition where the growths respond to oestrogen: as I am perimenopausal, I have an oestrogen imbalance. I'm now on progesterone to counter this, and am having normal periods for the first time since I came off the Pill!
This means, however, that I can't use oestrogenic oils - such as rose, geranium or clary sage.
And I love rose and geranium...
(clary sage gives me nightmares)
So I'm now wary about suggesting a general menopause blend. If you have specific symptoms, it's better to make blends for those symptoms considering the whole person.
BTW the last time I had a massage, I had lemon, juniper and sandalwood and it was gorgeous!
