Scott Berger was practicing in New Middletown until a complaint was filed against him in July 2024, accusing him of engaging in sexually explicit messaging with a patient that included pictures of his genetalia and conversation about sexual activity including his sexual preferences, performance and intention to engage in sexual activity with the patient, according to the Board.
The complaint also said that Berger engaged in sexual conduct on the massage table with a patient on at least five occasions, according to the Board.
The complaint said the violations happened from May to September 2022.
The board voted to revoke Berger’s license permanently. Permanent revocation means he will no longer be permitted to practice massage therapy in the state of Ohio.
