DICKINSON — Designed as a rejuvenating experience for mothers, the third annual Blossom and Flourish micro-retreat is scheduled for Sunday, April 27, from 4 to 7 p.m. The event will feature massages, on-site 3D/4D ultrasound sessions, sound therapy, and a charcuterie grazing table—promising an elegant and thoughtfully curated evening. Organized by a local birth photographer and trained doula, the retreat is a labor of love.
“Whether you’re pregnant, newly postpartum, or deep in the toddler trenches, Blossom & Flourish is your invitation to rest, recharge, and reconnect with yourself in a beautiful, welcoming space created just for moms,” said Regina Martin.

Hosted at the August House northeast of Dickinson, tickets are available for $25 on Eventbrite. A limited-time two-for-one promotion is currently available. Admission includes a 10-minute hand or chair massage, access to the Bloom Bar to design a take-home floral bouquet, bottomless virgin mimosas and signature mocktails, henna hand art, and a craft station for making custom onesies — either as a keepsake or gift.
Giveaways and demonstrations will also take place throughout the evening. Martin emphasized that the “make and take” offerings are meaningful touchpoints.

“These are beautiful reminders of the time moms gave themselves to flourish,” she said.
“It’s not just a retreat or vendor fair,” Martin added. “There’s no pressure to buy anything. You’ll have the chance to meet doulas, lactation counselors, therapists, photographers, and other moms walking a similar path. Whether you’re prepping for birth or navigating sleep schedules, you’ll find support, resources, and encouragement here.”

With its mix of care, creativity, and community, Blossom and Flourish isn’t just an event—it’s a breath of fresh air for mothers at any stage of the journey.
“Come as you are,” said Martin. “Leave feeling seen, supported, and celebrated.”
