South County Fire responded to two people trapped in an SUV that crashed into a massage parlor in Everett at 2 a.m. on Saturday.
The massage parlor was V.I.P. Massage on Highway 99 and Gibson Road in South Everett, narrowly missing a community transit bus stop.
The vehicle appears to be a silver Chevy Trailblazer. No one was hurt in the crash, but clearly the massage parlor won’t be open anytime soon.
To prevent the structure from collapsing, Technical Rescue Technicians were called in. South County Fire was aided by the Washington State Patrol and Mukilteo Fire.
No information was shared as to whether the truck occupants had been drinking or if it was a mechanical failure. A month ago, a pickup truck did destroy a bus stop and traffic pole on Broadway. Two weeks ago, an SUV crashed into an apartment building on Rucker.
Over the years, we’ve documented several dozen vehicle vs building crashes in our Everett Police Blotter and Everett Fire Rescue categories. The building wins every time.
