Ciudad Acuna & Piedras Negras
The "Boys Town" is actually out on the edge of Acuna. It is on the road to P. Negra. When you cross the bridge, turn left for about two blocks. The road turns back parallel to the river (you will pass a hospital on your right in a block or two). The road will bend and turn a little. At the first major intersection turn left. This will put you to hwy 2 that goes to P. Negra. Go past an over head arch with a Pmex station on the right. You have to look closely at this point. There is a little dirt road that goes up to the top of a hill, no markings. When you get tothe top there will be a "guard shack" and the guy will want $1.00 per person to get in.
Now if you miss the turn up the hill you will continue on straight for about two blocks ant there will be another paved road (highway 2) that goes to P. Negra. If you go this road for about 2 blocks you will be on the top of the hill, near a power staion. You can look down to your left on the buildings from here. Turn around and go back to the highway intersections and turn right back to Acuna, take the first dirt road up the hill.
I stopped going there about 2 or 3 years ago. Entertainment is cheaper in the states. When I quit, the best club, Hunters wanted $25 us for the use of their room. The girls were getting around $70 on up for 7's to 9' (if any nines there).
Prices are probably higher now. I went there for about 6 or 7 years. Prices started at $10 for the rooms and $30 to $40 for the girls. Guess too many prosperous Gringos ruined the market. There are only two gringo places there now. There was a third but it burned down. Hunters and the one across the street that I can never remember the name of. There is a Latino section on top of the hill. I have walked up there and have never had any problem. If you do this I would suggest that you go over early, walk up, talk to the bartenders and see if you are welcome. Prices will be better here but generally the prettier girls stop at Hunters and the other one, where they do more business for more money. I do find Acuna to be one of the cleaner border towns. You may want to walk around the Corona bar down town and another one near it (forget the name) for daytime anevening action. Rooms are available near by.
I gave up and went on over to Jaurez. Takes a quite bit farther but prices are around 1/2 of Acune. A hour in a massage parlor starts at $25 and goes up to about $50. Most places do not have any Extras (everything included) but a few are begining to add what was standard as extras for $10 or $20. Lots of bars there for a larger varielty. There must be 20 or more massage parlors there.
I have been to P. Negra. about 3 times. It was very hit or miss there. I forget the name of the club, first one on the right as you go in. It is owned by the same hold up artist that owns Hunters in Acune. Lots of other places there though.
See the Juarez section of this board.
It will be interesting to see your after action report to see if much has changed.
Have fun. Do not drink and drive. Taxies are (were )$10 each way.
