Aromatherapy massage IS a different type of massage. It involves pressure points and gentle movements that stimulate the nervous system.
I would not be very happy paying for an aromatherapy massage and the therapist used swedish movments. I'd feel ripped off, and veiw the therapist as very lazy, as well as advertising for a skill they did not know!

Great thanks for your replies. I wasn't sure if there was a difference in the massage techniques used. I don't feel so bad now about having to do the full years course if I am going to learn something new.
