Does anybody knows about (Deluxe Club) this place in Dennison just west of Warden in Markham...I know they offer Massage...but wonder what type
Any help would be appreciated

They open til quite late. They ususlly do not offer release but their techniques suggest that they do. So if you have any hints that you are interested of getting it, they will. I was told by my buddies so all I can suggest is give it a try. I think the massage techniques should be better than average comparing to the other MP's which.......you know what I mean.

Been to the place in August 2003 late one nite, had a very Regular message for 45 mins with 3 of my buddies. Cost was about $65. There were 5-6 ladies doing massage. Their looks range from ok to not so good. Mine was in the not so good catagory and she seems to be FOTB (fresh off the boat) from China. Techique-wise was very good but never mentioned about "the release".

I think they were trying to offer a one stop for all services and found out that guys who go for massages don't want to workout at the same time.

Been there once. Management reluctantly waived their annual membership fee. The hot tub was lukewarm at best. The lounge area was quite spacious and relaxing. Went for a double session. MPA was average-looking. Her english was so-so. Had to repeat myself a few times. Massage was a legit one, though. Like most asian spas, they're definitely more service-oriented.

Excuse my ignorance, but, what is a double session? Does that mean double the time or just double the money?

Never been to these Asian spa. What is the protocol when one visit for the first time?

Double the time.
The place is ment as a health club, thats why there is exercise equipment.
The one thing that bothered me was the towl boy following you around when you were in the "wet" area of the club.

Single session is 45 min. so a double is 1.5 hrs. Usually, it means double the cost but some places will give you a slight discount for the double. For instance, let's say a single costs $60, then a double would be about $100.

As for protocol, it goes something like this:
1) Go to change room
2) Take a shower
3) Relax in hot tub
4) Followed by sauna
5) Go to lounge area for beverage of choice
6) Go for massage in private room

One other thing, there's normally a recommended tip for the MPA. It's $10 for a single and $20 for double. Hope this helps.

Long ago, there was a place on Gerrard E, in Little Chinatown that offered this menu. Whether there was a dessert menu as well, I cannot say.

Logic says there should be such places downtown as well as in Agincourt; anyone know?

Was there recently. Opted for double session. Decent massage, altho a lot of the massage consisted of MP walking on my back . No release. Tipping the MP was not an option - they tacked an extra $20 onto the bill. I don't mind a tip for good service but didn't feel I had any choice. Cost for a double + tip = $148 (w/ no release).

I know this is an old thead but my experience today is too funny...

I am in a chinese mall (Metro Square) for lunch and need to use the facilities. On the back of the door of my stall is a label from an old 3.5 inch floppy disk (bad kharma there;-) with a message: Call Ivy at Deluxe Club It goes on to list the phone number and services: Good massage, good price: BJ and FS. Same label on every stall door (I had to check! just like I had to check it out in massageplanet.net.)

So there it was a seamy offer on the mens room wall. I guess she has a low budget for advertising.

Not sure I'm up for taking one for the team given the prices quoted in this thread but I thought massageplanet.netites might get a kick out of the enterprising altho' somewhat low budget approach of this MPA...

They looked in good shape. I beleived they were new as I would expect staff to clean that type of thing up. However perhaps they are out of date and have not been noticed due to the location.... you pretty much have to be siitting down to see them.
