Diluting NOW brand Rose Hip Seed Oil?

so I bought this brand of Rose Hip Seed Oil:

I want to use it to help heal a (not so new) scar on my lip, but the label cautions to dilute it with either jojoba, grapeseed, olive, or almond oil for any use other than aromatherapy. Do I have to dilute it to treat my scar?

Also, I plan to use it in the following mix that I read is good for healing scars:

[*]Everlasting 1 ml[*]Sage 1 ml[*]Rose Hip seed oil 15 ml (1/2 oz.)[*]Hazelnut Oil 15 ml (1/2 oz.)
Would I have to dilute it before mixing it with these other oils? And if I do have to dilute, what ratio do I use?

Well UK aromatherapists are not supposed to use Sage oil. I'm not sure what 'everlasting' is unless it is immortelle which is very very expensive.
I suggest you just dilute it in a more common base oil such as sweet almond.

Your recipe calls for a lot of essentla oil. It was only a few bucks and it had some good advice on blending essential oils. I don't think you need that much essential oil for a blend. Try reducing the amount to drops instead of ounces! Then add that to 1/2 oz of carrier oil and that should be enough to last you 6 months!

Sage is an oil that sould not be[sm=nono.gif] used because it is hazardous to use.
