The number of useless posts has made this board a no go. The Edmonton board is still a positive one. For any experienced massage connoisseur in Calgary (with a track record of useful posts on this board) suggest DM. Directly share ideas on therapy plus added experiences, not pure AMPS with Full menus as those are pretty obvious.

Thanks, wasn't aware that these options existed on this board. Personally prefer DMs with a few vetted members as opposed to becoming an administrator of sorts.

The Calgary board has had a bigger problem for years. The new problem is with all of the irrelevant posts, so usually we don’t even look at most threads anymore. The longer term issue is that immature posters are unable to differentiate between RMT therapists and masseuses who work at the relaxation AMPs (with menus including FS). Edmonton board generally has people who understand that various levels of discretion are necessary based on the type of business. Any reviews of RMTs should be put out with great restraint … regardless of what our personal YMMV experiences are. Even with AMP reviews, respect is necessary. The guys who brag useless stuff here or on CAF are keyboard jockeys, and push comes to shove they don’t know the gems. Information sharing between vetted board members who respect the therapists is a valuable step. And public reviews of ripoffs, very bad therapists, or money wasting experiences, unsafe or unclean surroundings are most useful.

Hobbyists need to be clear on what they enjoy most. If they seek only relaxation activities then they should visit AMPs. If they truly appreciate therapeutic massage, they should seek that out first and build from there. But don’t behave like a jerk with a therapist who is still mostly focused on massage.

And time to time good things develop with a therapist. Such as reverse massages, and some play time. Rare but it happens. Exchanging information with mature and experienced hobbyists is about sharing those tips on possibilities. These are not menu driven items.

In the DM world, couple of additional points:
1) No cross sharing of information. New information, previously not known, received from one member should not be shared with your other DM buds. This happens often, maybe unintentionally but its a deal breaker, basically one never shares with that person again. It's fairly easy to track unless you are DMing with too many people. DMing only works with people with similar interests. And unless one personally gains that experience with that therapist, passing on that information is just unethical, gossip. Meaning DM should be about personal knowledge. gained through active experience, time and money invested. To help another member know that there is a possibility, but they can't march in demanding that same experience of that therapist. The YMMV factor.

2) No accidental posting on public forum of information that is received only by a DM. This has happened to me previously on Edmonton forum. Possibly unintentional, it was related to special package pricing from a therapist I saw often. Totally unnecessary. Especially since that poster couldn't even build rapport with that therapist. So why post any information that they have not even experienced, nor were they offered? Caused me unnecessary grief with the therapist because at that moment I was the only one receiving such a package. Too many posters are eager to post information because it makes them feel useful or important.

Hopefully, this can help people who have common interests.

This sounds a little like another "Adult Fun" website I've seen somewhere...
The one that is loaded with providers and the clients who believe that their glowing flamboyant reviews will get the girls swooning over them. There is very little of actual value being shared on there. Certainly no actual new information. Just post after post singing the praises of Priya, Morgan, or Selene. Sure, they may be good at their jobs. But it's always the same thing, just worded a bit differently.

It's a good idea in theory, but the "the waitress is flirting with me" types have turned it in to a fan club for a short list of providers. I feel a lot of second-hand embarrassment reading through some of those reviews.

CAF is fan club. Massage planet is a troll play ground. One really doesn't need any of this. The only useful information would be perhaps what to avoid to save a little time and money. However such a waste of time and money can be attributed to the nature of this hobby, and one perhaps needs to accept that. The solution then is simple: Not to repeat with bad providers (massage or otherwise and for whatever reason it was bad) and move on... behaviours of clients, providers and posters won't change easily! Massage planet doesn't really have any moderators, CAF's moderators don't care about the site itself

Don't worry I stopped caring long ago! All his accounts and usernames are block as will any other new accounts he might come up with... so I don't even see or know... however sadly we can't control his behavior... he got called out, he is reacting ! you can and we can however control what we see and read on here by using some of the features on this forum. Not telling people what to do just trying to help in keeping a more pleasant experience.

So that post was and this one is for member, provider, and protection of sensitive information! Particularly when certain individuals pretend to be someone they are not! Thereby try to gain access to sensitive information by gaining the trust of known members with sensitive and valuable information.

And no not trying to police this forum, this place is fucked beyond repair. But I do try to protect my interests, not on here but out in the non virtual world, involving providers and their interests (which naturally includes mine). That's something we all should be concerned with in this hobby.
