OK, First off, I don't think I'm extremely good looking or extremely unattractive. I think I'm an ordinary looking guy.
So, one day at college, this girl walked by me, we caught each others eye. She was pretty.
We kept looking at each other batting eyes, you know the deal. Well I finally worked up the courage to approach her, I sat down next to her and introduced myself in a nice way. I said, "Hi, my name is ingridguerci94, what's your name?" As soon as I finished that question, she stood up and walked away, without a word. I felt extremely bad after that, I really did consider if I really was hideous. Seriously.
Why would a girl do this? Am I really that ugly? I can send photos of myself to whoever asks, I just wanna know what you girls think of a guy introducing himself to you.

It sounds like you made a friendly and genuine approach, which is great! Sometimes, people might react unexpectedly for reasons that have nothing to do with you. She could have been caught off guard, in a rush, or maybe just not in the right headspace at the time. It definitely doesn’t mean you're unattractive or did anything wrong.
