Wasn't sure whether to put this in Aroma section or pets section so its gone in both!
Our Westie has a skin complaint on her back (I beleive Westies are prone to skin problems, although she's 8 and has never had a problem before)
Her skin looks very pink, when it is normally a dark colour. It feels very thick, hard and inflammed, and it is making her itch a lot. As a result of her constant scratching she has now started to go a bit scabby! Bless her!
Im wondering what the best blend is to make for her, I have read in other pet inquiries that dogs skin is different to ours, so this is obviously going to have some affect on the choice of base - and essential oils in the blend.
I have read that a gel base is ideal...something like an aloe vera gel with a few drops of essential oils maybe?
Any help and advice is greatly appreciated from myself and little Rosie! [sm=dogrun.gif][sm=cat.gif]
peace & love
