In all seriousness, Japan is a goldmine for chicks, even if above thirty and without Japanese language skills. Though anecdotally it appears times aren't as good on my last trip compared to my first in 2004, it still rocks. Two years with no chicks just isn't cutting it. I don't care who or what you are, but it is no excuse. You are either getting played with the Americanized J-crowd, English groupies or stuck in the countryside; perhaps just shy? You can be a man in Japan. No b**ch is going to bite your head off in Japan.
I dont know what city you're in, but you need to get to one with at least one-million people. That will be the critical mass needed for gaijin bars/clubs. Go there be nice, cool, talk slow etc. With all the hip-hop craze, this should help you being black. In kansai it appears all the gaijin bars have turned into defacto gangster japanese rap hangouts, seriously pushing out the English speaking Japanese women.
You need to be proactive. Japanese are very shy. And gaijin are pedestrian enough to not get approached anymore, though some older women did this in my early twenties. It appears a man by his mid-late twenties has lost his kawai factor, even for middle-aged women. Just talk to them: if they don't know English, just apologize and move on. You can do this literally anywhere, but places girls tend to speak more English are bookstores (go to the English language section); coffee shops (I guess they are more intellectual); some cities have English-language exchange; tutor; local JET and ekaiwa people have their own parties: network; etc. Only use internet dating as a supplement. Eventually, you'll build it up.
Incidentally, when I was JET as a 23 yo I only pulled one girl in my first six months. I was isolated from the other English teachers, being only with Japanese and a New Zealand chick. Once I got the handle on how to get around the language barrier and that being my perverbial nice-guy self was conducive to the romance-starved, cuteness mentality of Japanese women, I started to clean up. I even had a steady pro-tennis player girlfriend. Too bad I had to go back for crummy med school. My good, but short times in Japan, helped saboeforum.xxxe me when I got back. Now I'm in another rising, but less prestigious health profession.
Take advaneforum.xxxe of your time in japan. I only get to have summer breaks there. Was there last with NOVA right before the big crash!
