I don't know a whole lot about essential oils, but what I do know I love. I have been researching oils and other natural/alternative healing methods (including Reiki, acupuncture, Raindrop, etc) for both humans and horses. A relative of mine works a lot with natural/alternative healings and has been a great resource.
As I was talking with my boyfriend tonight I was reading a book about essential oils (Desk Reference to Essential Oils) and the uses of Peppermint. I thought it was really neat information so I shared it with my boyfriend. Right away he starts going on about how most of these studies are true, they don't really work, etc.
I told him that it only makes sense to use nature when dealing with our bodies. He responded, "How is lavender natural to our body". He ended up dropping it (saying he couldn't get the words out right) so I didn't have to argue anymore.
I don't necessarily want him to practice these methods, but I want him to know more about it and how it really does work.
What can I do? What should I say? Any good articles, advice, tips, facts, etc that I can give him?
Thanks
