Etown MP scene in 2009: trends.

Hi guyz,

Looks like, wid de economy bein what it is, that de Etown MP scene is fast becoming a Coupon Shoppers paradise. Seems that jest about every SP be running some form of "Special".

Josie's (at Legends) specials are one indicator of both pricing levels and studio's awareness that dey need to show flexibility to de girls for allowing them leeway to run specials, as opposed to imposing mandatory 'cartel' like pricing on alla de girls.

Those pricing levels now seem to be 240 for gfe, msog at MPs. Most of de visiting girls to Etown are now advertising 250 for gfe msog anyways, so that's de competition for de locals.

De net effect of imposing 240/260 for BASIC fs sessions on all de girls at de studios is to drive out de less physically attractive girls who can only compete for sessions successfully at de 200 level, and to secure more sessions for de ones who offer More extras combined with greater physical beauty.

De girls who don't match stereotypical modern day standards of beauty then have to relocate to de smaller studios for de 200 FS price.

Shiatsu is allowing all of dere girls to run specials. Legends is allowing some. Which studio will be next?? Will de pricing cartel mentality give way to reality??

Of the Asian studios, I don't think Myasianbaby is going to make it (owner can't recruit enough gals) ...Oriental Geisha might make it, but they're charging their girls room rates of 60 for the HH, 70 for 45 minits and 80 bux for a one hour session, so de girls really are taking quite a hit for their sessions. Even Peter is only charging his girls 60. Myasianbaby's rates for the gals is 65 for de hour. Regular studio rates are usually about 40 or 50 for de hour.

for de Asian micros: (as opposed to the Asian Studios):

Don will eke by, since he no longer has Mike as co-organizer..Paul/Cathy will take de lead in the Asian Micro division for a few reasons..1. they bring in more girls 2. Jem0785 is a big big booster for their biz.

More and more Asian CL indy ads are appearing: (I had a great session wid one yesterday...review to follow), some of them legit, some of them bait and switch. These will proli****te because of de demand for lower priced sessions.

Studios' business numbers could possibly drop by 20%..dat means..

For a busy studio such as Legends, with 25 girls..in de past, de average number of sessions per girl per shift would have been around 3.5 clients (don't know how that half a client snuck in dere, or if he paid half price ), de total number of sessions per month would be about 850 to 900.

A 20% drop would reduce dese numbers to 680 to 720 total sessions per month for de studio.

Implications for de girls:

a 20% drop in business visits means the girl would either have to suffer a 20% drop in income, OR work extra shifts (Possibly at 2 different studios) to generate the same business as before, OR reduce her pricing by 20% to generate the same amount of visits by her clients.

De superstars can still continue to maintain their rate of 300, but can expect the frequency of visits by their repeat clients to become less frequent, more spaced out and sporadic.

The rate of 300/hr for gfe will come under strong pressure, since pooners know that they can have a session with just about any MP girl in Etown, and pooners' appetite for variety means that a 300 rate lady will get one visit, but not potentially any more if that visit is not out of this world (in the pooner's estimation). For 300/hr now, the customer is expecting a SPECTACULAR session, not just an average, ordinary, run of the mill session.

More and more of the girls will offer a 45 minute session as one option, in addition to the Quickie, 30 minute and 60 minute session offerings.

De fifteen or 20 minute quickie session now offered by some studios will have de time clock begin when the SP returns to de room after de client has showered. Otherwise , de client is gonna be some kinda pissed off. And de ladies offerin de quickie session can expect some fast and furious straight funking fs action for dat time.

At which time, if de non-stop pounding becomes excessive, de studios will start posting signs outside de establishment "NO doped up Viagra clients!!!!" and "Only PE customers wanted!!". De Quickie Session studios will be buying lube by de gallon at holesale prices..

Nice work Huggy Bear, that is some excellent information. And very readable, but you dont have to sacrifice your creative and unique style for the sake of clarity, I always get what youre layin down dawg.

Id like to make mention of Supreme. Some girls there are offering deals as well, notably Jaylah and Lilith.

And I have seen a few duo specials too, Josie and Paige at Legends, Kendra and Mika at Revive, Jaylah and....hmmm, well just about everyone, that girl likes the ladies!

I would like to see some bargains for multi hour sessions if that is possible for the ladies. It has been my experience that a 2 hour session is simply the rate for an hour doubled. As some ladies base rates on menu items and not so much time I think it is fair to get a reduction for the second hour, I mean how much more DATY do you normally do after helping her to 3 or 4 O's with oral.

I agree with your points on pricing Trin. I expect that we'll see alot more competitive pricing over the next little while as girls struggle to build a client base in an over-saturated market.

I think we'll aslo see a leveling out of the number of girls working in the business. In any boom and bust cycle almost all industries will see an influx of bodies during the boom to provide enough services to meet demand. When demand is high enough, quality of service often takes a back seat to just providing the service. This means that businesses, providers, sales people etc. who wouldn't normally be successful in a stable economy are able to thrive based on numbers alone during a boom.

As the economy drops and levels out, those who jumped on board to ride the quick cash wave, without differentiating themselves by providing quality service will find themselves alot less busy. For this business it means that the girls who do not already have a strong client base or the looks and personality to stand out from the crowd, will have to become more competitive with their pricing/services. I think that many girls will find this frustrating and use this as an opportunity to pursue other career options.

I expect to see a drop in both the number of girls working and in the number of studios that are open in the city over the next couple of years. I think once the ratio of providers to pooners levels out again, we will see a smaller gap in pricing ranges as rates find a balance again.

In the meantime, you guys are in a pooning paradise so make hay while the sun shines!!

I think your observations are accurate. However one influence is going to have a major impact on this scenario.

Investors from Eastern Canada will probably open quite a few studios over the next two years as their Ontario and Quebec markets are experiencing a more severe recession. To them our little dip in business is still gold to them.

Do you really think that owning a MP is a huge money maker? I'm not sure I agree with you or you wouldn't see that the vast majority of owners actually work at the studio.

Yeah that's been rumoured forever. I think we know that Showgirls strip club is run the the motorcycle boyz however I have yet to hear that studio "X" is run by them.

Trin Trin, your predictions/logic are very astute, but I'd just like to add three other trends that I didn't see mentioned.

1. A lot of the SP's are now advertising on CL , wether that business is at the studio or "off the books" is another story...

2. There seems to be an increase in SP's willing to work "off the book" thus avoiding studio fees, thus increasing their take home pay

3. And finally as the revenue decreases (an impact of "off the book" perhaps?) some SP's/studios will increase their pricing to compensate.

If there are added extras (value for money) then this may be the way to go, a way to screen out marginal clients, but this will take time in a depressed economy

The fatal flaw with this process is that the pooners do not have the same "play money" available, and are already cutting back (I know of many guys who have been hit), thus any increase will result in fewer trips, further feeding the reduced revenues

I know that a lot of the girls I have seen have been saying that business has slowed down a little but not much. I think the girls who give bad service will get weeded out and others will go on CL to supplement a day job as opposed to working full time.
While there are many specials out there to be had, there are still some that are still at $300 for GFE. It's their perrogative though, I for one don't haggle with the ladies.

Never been to a Micro and doubt I will.

Seems the "going" rate for full GFE with the visiting ladies is about $250/260 for one hour, with others slightly above at $275..We still have a few premier visitors at $300 +..

Doesn't seem to be a "going" rate for the local ladies , as those rates are all over the map, depending on how busy they want to be, or how much pressure they're getting from their fellow workers.

We can expect some of the studios to change ownership because of economic pressures, plus some of the owners may decide to get out before things become even worse.

The studios are caught in a crunch because utility costs continue to spiral up, customer visits are down, and the pool of talent for good SPs is limited. If they raise their room rates too high, it impacts their ability to attract and retain their SPs..

Have to agree with you Mick, I spend most of my pooning time at the smaller parlors and the variety of pricing lately has been crazy> lowest Ive been quoted was $60 (but wow did I not stay with her) to a high of $$$. Any given day / girl / shift and the#s change.

I regularly have hour long sessions for 200 or less. Rarely (if she's that good looking or if she's a GFE virgin) do I pay more.

Politely but firmly say, "look this is what I pay for a session so if you can come down a bit we'll have some fun, otherwise I'll have to go see another girl." It works most of the time and if it doesn't, I'm always ready to walk.

it appears that things will be even tougher for ALL the MPs, (not just the micros or escorts.)

Remember, Peter's studios were LICENCED with the city, so it exposes EVERY (and All) LICENCED STUDIO(s) to the same type of charges if LE wants to close them down..

We may say that pooners should stay away from micros and visiting escorts, but with regular MPs being more visible and easier to bust with their known locations, the opposite case can also be made to cool the visits to the MPs..Just sayin'..

What ever happened to the legal concept of prostitution being legal in Canada??
