Marjie’s Gluten Free Pantry of Fenton has added massage therapy to its holistic health and healing services. Marjie Andrejciw, owner of Marjie’s Gluten Free Pantry, has partnered with Eryn Grupido to offer massage therapy and reiki massage, a Japanese healing technique.

Grupido is a Licensed Massage Therapist, (LMT) and offers massage therapy at Marjie’s Pantry.

Grupido decided to become a massage therapist, while attending Michigan Tech. “I decided to go to school for massage therapy in 2011 when after a season of work as a field biologist, I went to get a massage to help the shoulder pain I had from the heavy packs we carried. That’s when I realized how beneficial massages are and how they can help improve daily life,” Grupido said in a statement.

Grupido has worked in different spa settings and on her own.

“As an ecologist, I see the human body as an ecosystem on it’s own: one that needs to be restored, from time to time, from the daily wear and tear of life. My own practice is meant to be more about restoring my clients’ energy, range of motion, and relieving pain, rather than just relaxation, but that is a big part of it as well,” Grupido said.

Marjie’s Pantry is dedicated to gluten and dairy free food products as well as natural supplements, personal care products and environmentally friendly cleaning products. At Circle of Life Nutrition, LLC they offer nutritional counseling and will be offering classroom workshops on nutrition and health starting this January.

Andrejciw opened Marjie’s in 2010 as an expansion of her nutritional counseling practice, Circle of Life Nutrition, LLC, which she started in 2008, due to her own health concerns. Andrejciw has a master’s degree in Holistic Nutrition and specializes in chronic illness. Both Marjie and Eryn are alumni of Michigan Technological University.
