For those who have fallen "in love" with your fave MPA....

Let reality settle in when you ask other massageplanet.netites to pm you about what was involved in their session(s) with your fave MPA...most likely they will describe sessions and conversations and mindfucking experiences that match yours or even better than your experiences. And it will dispell that famous line that most MPA's use when they give you high mileage (DFK, daty, dp,....); "I don't allow this or that with any other client."
More like; "I don't do this or that with everyone, just the ones I'm attracted to and that could mean once per day or 5 times per day depending on who sees me." Over the course of a year a popular MPA with a steady stream of regulars that she has "hand-picked" by giving them hot hot sessions (that always brings them back) may give high mileage to dozens of guys per month. So much for falling in love with your fave MPA when she has dozens of clients that she treats just as well or better than you.

Punkdt, good advice. Eventhough some may view it as "bitter", it's not...just reality for dealing with vast majority of MPA's.

A related issue, which I have raised before, is (even when you are not deceived by the lines or the "hot hot" sessions, and fully understand that this is a business, that you are thoroughly enjoying the benefits of the "game" and that you have absolutely no interest in becoming involved, emotionally or otherwise, with the MPA) when the MPA, without explanation or forewarning, suddenly changes from giving you "hot hot" sessions to ones that are so frigid that you feel angry and ripped off.

This is not a matter of emotions or relationships, but rather a customer service issue, just like in any service industry.

I have had this happen on various occasions. The difference is how it is handled by the MPA.

Some explain (or you can figure out what the reason is) why things have changed; this is the reasonable, rational, mature approach that allows you to say "oh well, too bad a good thing has ended. But, I understand. It's her choice, and I can live certainly live with that".

On the other hand, others get pissed when you enquire, claim not to know what you are talking about, get defensive, etc., and you never get an explanation. This is, of course, unfortunate as it leaves everyone dissatisfied. But, MPA's are, ultimately, no different than the cross-section of individuals in any industry...some are more well adjusted than others; some are more sensitive; some are more mature; some really don't care as long as they are making good money.

Even in the latter situation, I have been able to say, over time (and after the sting of paying for less than mediocre sessions has passed), "It happens", recognize that this is an inherently crazy and often unpredictable business, and move on to new adventures (even if I try to quit a couple of times a year...but, that's another story altogether).

Most of us have suffered from unrequited love at some point. Mine wasn't an industry lady but that's as of today. Tomorrow........who knows.

Dudenhagen, your advice seems to apply to a break up in a "real" relationship, but no doubt is sound advice if someone indeed does get involved that heavily. Oddly enough, or maybe not, the advice is very similar to that for "addictions" ...

I'm still having a hard time grasping that very many people actually fall in love or even think they are in love. Caring and finding some kind of chemistry is one thing. Aside from the two examples I cited in another thread where MPA's left the biz for a client and in one case got married. Of course it happens, but in these case's it's mutual and a rarity.

If it were me I'd question whether it is an infatuation or "love". I tend to think it's far more likely an infatuation. In many cases it can be extremely destructive, but in my definition it is far more physical, obsessive, possessive and selfish than what we should perceive as love.

I'm beginning to think we have some serious issues around here. I'm far from immune myself, but we cannot expect another person to fulfil us as individuals. Especially when we are paying them.

If you love something set it free. If it doesn't come back and you are posting about it on massageplanet.net it's most likely an obsessive, physical, infatuation.

I know its been said before but I think we all have to remember that going to mpa is to relieve an urge and to fulfill a fantasy. Hopefully, after the session both of these needs have been met.

Generally the way I look at "special treatment" and complements (e.g. you have a really nice touch, where are you from (because your tool doesn't match the stereotype), you're really easy to talk to, you're so sweet, I'm glad to see you etc) is that this is the mpa's way of saying "I like you as a client and I'd like you to see me again as a client." If you interpret as anything else 99% of the time you are setting yourself up for a fall.

If you walk out of a session feeling good about yourself that's about as much as you can hope for.

I find variety is also very important. Don't just see one mpa because there are a lot of them out there and there are a lot of good ones out there. In some ways I look at sessions like vacations.... nice places to visit but I'm not about to move and what happens on the road stays on the road.

Finally remind yourself that you are paying for the session and ask yourself would she do this if you weren't paying her. Plus if in your personal life you don't find non-mpa's throwing themselves at you.... what makes you think an mpa will? In the end they are all women and are no different than any woman outside of the biz.

I just wanted to offer my two cents. I won't pretend and say I've never fallen for an mpa. But in the end the lovesickness will only go as far as you let it.

What I have to say is more about things that prevent being in the position of falling.

I got a minor wake up call recently. I ran into one of my regular ladies in the parking lot. We have an understanding that I'm not exclusive. I thought we had a special connection. Don't get me wrong, I never thought there was any real feeling going either way but just that we were usually glad to see each other. I was leaving so obviously wasn't going to see her. She wasn't rude but her usual warmth was noticeably absent.

The feeling I got wasn't that she was upset but just that the clock wasn't running so she didn't have time. This sort of thing keeps me from making a bigger mistake so I shouldn't complain. You guys are right, it's about the money.
