Fujiyama Spa Got Robbed- Be aware

On April 8, 2007 approx 8pm 2 asian male went into the Spa acting as customers and robbed the Spa. I know this not because of the news but I am a close friend of the owner of Fujiyama. The robbers didnt masked themselves, went in and strap tie the girls and the owner and demanded for their cell phones and cash. No one was harmed but surviellence recorder and unknown amount of cash was taken from the place. Just a warning for other massageplanet.neters, that to be aware and play safe.

Fujiyama is openly blatant, its expected here. This place basically believes they are untouchable... I am surprised they are still around, the way they flaunt service as a business and the girls they have who come in to basically rob the customers on a one by one basis/ These girls are nothing special and expect New York city prices for low end services. Im not surprised nor unhappy to hear this news.

heard that many mp place are getting hit, especially the asian mp and in call places....i would expect to go out and have fun in a safe and secure environment rather than watching my back if anything happens. It's good to be careful but paranoia & gossip mill usually blow numbers out of proportion.

Like news of LE busts, isolated incidents quickly become citywide sweeps on the "whacker network", as people hype up stories, double/triple count & no cross-validation of facts.

For MPs, best robbery defence are cameras, lock doors & eye out for suspicious characters. LEs tend to forgive lock doors if concern of robberies. Exceptions are high mileage or unlicenced MP.

It's news to me Fujiyama with 'surviellence' equipement.

Unfortunately... this is not true.

Our Potato-Head Spa is low-mileage... AND LICENCED.... And still.... everytime they come in.... they tell us not to lock the doors....

I don't think they really care about our safety. Except the blondie cop and his Vin Diesel friend that used to come around before.... They were really nice. They always told us to lock the doors and stay safe. But those 2 don't come around anymore... it's always these new LEs that come around now.... Everytime they come in.... they tell us NOT to lock the doors.

Sometimes... I think that MAYBE they WANT something to happen.... so they can have an excuse to close us all down...

Afterall.... They don't really like us whacker peoples....

That's why... most MPs that get robbed, don't bother reporting it. For what?

Like I wrote in my on-line diary here.... When I was robbed at my spa this year; if I wasn't hyperventilating, and then having trouble breathing and needed an ambulance.... we would've NEVER bothered calling the cops. For what? We were robbed already... we weren't going to see our money again anyways....

But since I needed an ambulance.... we had no choice.

They say "Don't lock the front doors" but if insists it's crime prevention - no issue at least at other places.

Should LE insists on ticket, would owner not pay the ticket in exchange for the SAFETY of girls & customers?

Or is the issue with owner too cheap to pay for ticket? Or lawyer fee to fight ticket as cost of doing business?

In my book, low mileage are like JF, Xspa or Changs with HJ but not extra. Any time extras are offered, it's at least medium mileage.

May be problem is your LE? areas with complains? or owner nasty to LE?

The new Asian Bylaw guy - the one with the chip-on-shoulder type with the attititude. Just confront him, he squirms & backdown. Even Uniforms can't stand his rude treatment of MPAs. He's been told to learn some manners.

There's more than a handful of MPs w/locked doors with buzz-in. Being a regular, I helped translate crime-prevention pamphlets to few MP owners & girls.

In terms of not reporting crime, it's not about the cash but prevent thugs from harming others. Guess I'm jaded the uniforms will go after these guys.

Aside, didn't Vin Diesel partner with a skinny dude?

Make you wonder how many robberies are unreported. From talking to MPA's I guess is for every reported one there is at least 9 unreported.

I don't think it's the issue of whether or not the owner would pay the ticket... (Or lawyer fee to fight the ticket....) Now, I heard that if a MP get more than "X" amount of tickets per year, then they cannot renew their license the following year. That's why Potato-Head Boss is trying to be really careful to not get any tickets.

Yeah... I think problem is with the LEs that's been coming by. I don't think we get any complaints from our neighbours... we're on pretty good term with them. I always order food from them and they're always happy to see me. Plus, one time, I asked one customer how he knew about our place... and he said, "Oh... the owner of "XYZ" restaurant told me about you...."

We give them business... they give us business....

Owner is not nasty to LE either.... Potato-Head Boss is always polite to them. They're polite to her too.... They just tell her not to lock the doors.



Haven't seen new Asian Bylaw guy yet... Maybe he's not working in the same area I'm working in...

Hope I don't run into him.... I don't like people with attitude....

The only 2 by-laws I saw at the Potato-Head Spa are the 2 women inspectors. One blondie with shoulder length hair... and the other is a brunette with glasses, and really long hair down to her waist. Both are very pretty. They were there for less than 10 minutes... (Potato-Head Boss checked the camera), and both were very polite.



Hmmmm...... From what I recall.... He wasn't THAT skinny. He definitely wasn't bulky.... but I wouldn't call him skinny either...

Blondie cop was probably in his 30's..... I really can't recall how he looks like now......

As a customer I can pick daytime to visit MP's, but as MPA's how do you girls survive? Do you have a choice to work day shift which I think is safer?

No offence but is that the Potato-head story? Does potato-head owner offer to help girls fight ticket? If not, there's your answer.

As an owner, are tickets more important or someone possibly hurt at MP in robbery? What if they turn violent?

I know about the X amount of tickets for locked doors but have you heard of any MP can't renew because of it. So far the kiss of death against renewal has been high-mileage tickets.

Sorry, I dont' visit any MP knowing the owner only care about staying in business & not take precaution to protect girls.

I have heard that AAA Yorkland lock their doors and would fight this kind of ticket, and I would guess many other PM also lock their doors for security issues. Any LE or Licence officer giving out tickets for this, would have a hard time justifying this in court. It is a fight the MP would need to make for their own security and that of their staff.

The bylaw people would have a rought time with a ticket for locked doors at a holistic MP since the bylaw itself specifically states that doors may be locked for security.

The bylaw for Body Rub specifially states that doors may not be locked, so it really depends on the license type.

I thought I did my research thoroughly.

I meticulously examined the subjects in question for at least an hour and based on my years of experience with the subject matter I concluded that they are real.

I guess there must be some problem with my methodology. I must go and redo my research even more thoroughly.
