This is the recipe for a solid handcream which needs to be poured into a jar... its absolutely lovely, works really well
10g beeswax
10g cocoa butter
35ml sweet almond oil
5 drops evening primrose oil
blend of frankincense, orange and mandarin (blend to suit your nose!)
You need to put beeswax and cocoa butter in a bain marie (small pot inside big pot of boiling water), let it melt on v.low heat, do not let boil, as soon as melted add almond oil, will harden again then - let it melt stirring all the time, once melted take off heat, add evening primrose oil then allow to cool for just a moment or two and then add essential oils. Stir and pour into sterile jar and allow to cool. Trick is to add essential oils before it starts solidifying but not so soon as it is too warm and just evapourates.
Of course you can add any blend of essential oils to this (10-14 drops seems to do the trick) I also made lavender and rosemary for a friend which was lovely.
As this is made of natural products with no preservatives it will probably last up to 6 months.
People I have made this for have liked it so much they have been ordering it in for Christmas presents (I am covered under my insurance policy).
Good luck, its easy once you get going
