help me! i got a creepy chat message, now im really scared?

ok, so i was going to a gaming site. then something came up and told me to put in my city. i thought it was for the gaming site, to play against people who live near me. but then i realized it was a porn site!!! immediately, a message came up. it said
hey sexy, my name is brandon. i live in your area. want to chat?
then another message came up and it had some more.........detail. im really freaked out and scared. help me!?!?!?!?
are you sure it wasnt a real guy??? i mean it sounded so real

Unfortunately, this is part of the modern internet. There are some things that you can do to keep that from coming up again. First off, you should go back to the site and take down the address to it. Then you can go into your control panel i your computer and manually block that site. Also, you may be able to enter some kind of parental control to permanently block adult sites and pop-ups (until you remove the control should you ever want to)
As far as the site, as long as you didn't tell them anything more than your city, then that's all that they will know. These people will not purposefully try to find you. You really do not have that much to be scared of, though i do understand that you are.

They are not messages from real people, they are bots. Just ignore the messages, go to a different site and they will cease to appear.
