Help! Need Advice

I have a really close friend of mind that often goes to MP's. He has been going for about 2 and a half months now. He tells me that their is this one particular MPA that he sees every week, how they click, how they have so much in common. I guess he is beginning to have some feelings for her. IMHO its just a crush or something like that, just don't want to tell him that. Is it possible for anyone to actually have a relationship with a MPA. I've been on massageplanet.net for about two to three weeks now, and I never heard of anyone actually going out with a MPA. He's had girlfriends in the past, but not near to a MPA stature. I wanted to tell him that their is no possible way that he can hook him self up with a MPA. I think that they don't really date their clients (professional reasons MPOV) this is a job they do. Anyways just need some advice about how to handle this situation. BTW still haven't had a chance to go to one yet, been working a lot, but will go ASAP. I'm thinking of going to Allure and try out Shakira. I've heard good things about her. When I do, I'll post my first review on her.

Been seeing the same MPA for years now. Feeling so comfortable with her you would not believe it. Actually, things between us go so well I can honestly say we have a chemistry like I have never experienced with anyone else. I keep going back.

In real life relationships, I have found that theay are boring in comparison, and I do not feel nearly as comfortable as I do with my MPA.

I know this is creating a problem for me in real life... I was getting tired of messing around and hoping to meet someone special. In real life, I quite frankly get disappointed most times.

Trouble is, everything feels just right and special with one person, my special MPA. And I am pretty sure I make it very special for her too.

So my conclusion.... Do not fight with with your inner feelings. I think individuals can only fake so much. If there really was not something special, I would certainly not keep going back, and your friend might be in the same boat.

Anyway, bottom line, if you are happy, why fight it.... just go with it.

Tell your friend: DON'T DEVELOP FEELINGS FOR YOUR MPA!!!

Never forget that this is a service and money is being exchanged. A simple test to see if it's "Real" is to try to walk out of the session without paying. If it's real, she'll not object to a free session. (This is a sarcastic comment wth the intent to give your freind a wake-up call!).

Now, that doesn't mean that she doesn't have any feelings for you on a freindship level. But, those feelings may simply be: "Thank God that he's clean and decent compared to alot of the jerks that come in here. I can at least relate to him and not be repelled by him". Many times I've heard attendants (in the lobby) have the receptionist run interferance for them to avoid a creep. It's the nice and respectable guys that they like as clients and develop a "friendship" with. That doesn't mean it's going to develop into a relationship.

In rare circumstances, it is possible that genuine feelings develop on both sides that view that as very rare. Do a search on the members that go by "Humble D" and "New Years Eggy". These two guys developed very strong feelings for a couple of popular attendants and the feelings were not returned. You'll see how damaging that can be.

If she's popular then search this board to see how many other guys rate her highly and "Click" with her. I bet he's not alone. Don't get too caught up in the Fantasy is my advice for your friend.

There comes a "moment of truth" in any relationship...

Your buddy needs to come out and say:

"MPA X: You and I get along great, and I could see us being friends outside of the MP. What do you think?"

The chances of them dating are VERY small, especially if the MPA intends to keep working, but she MIGHT just be interested in a platonic relationship.

HOWEVER:

... your friend needs to be prepared for a negative answer which will be some form of:

" I keep my business and personal life separate and don't associate with clients outside of the spa..."

If he ISN'T prepared to hear that, or does NOT want to jeopardize a great MPA/Client relationship, better to keep things professional.

Speaking from experience, I know first hand it IS possible to build friendships outside of the MP, but it's RARE....

I had the same thing happen to me a couple of years back where an MPA who says she is in a bad marriage, gives me her cell number and tells me to call her and we can get together outside of the MP blah blah blah, I ran away faster than a French soldier in 1940, threw out the number and never called.

Just remember these girls are in it for the money, of course you "click", you will "click" with alot of these girls, their objective is to get you to keep coming back !! Just remember you are not the only one that she "clicks" with. If she is a good MPA, she probably "clicks" with 5 or 6 other guys every day. Do a search and you'll find other threads just like this one. The one thing you have to remember is do you want a girl who gets paid to have sex to be your girlfriend ??? Some of these girls are very hot, which will cloud your judgement, but honestly do you want a MPA or a girl who actually has morals ?

PLEASE DON'T DO THIS!!! Most people don't realize that when a client runs out on us, depending on where we work, we have to pay for that person's session, which is usually $30-$40. On top of that, at the end of the shift, we are usually charged a receptionist fee which is $10 and those of us who don't drive, (Me!!) have to pay for a driver which is sometimes anywhere from $40-$50 for the day.

joe29_ : Although relationships with a MPA is rare, it does happen. One MPA I know married one of her clients and quit the business, and my two longest relationships are with previous clients (one is almost 7 years). But that's 2 clients out of the thousands that I've seen. The trick is to ask to see the MPA outside the spa (without any money exchange). If she's willing to go, that's a really good sign. I wish your friend all the best.

I'd want a chick who has a similar morality and values to my own, and seeing as I've paid for services rendered by MPAs, their morality in that context would be within the scale of my own.

Maybe the question is, would he be secure enough to be with a female who has taken some degree of power over [expressing & using] her sexuality or is it just a case of accepting the tedious old double standard which we were fed.

Yeah, I'd have to agree with what Leah_MPA says in reagrds to the advice given up above. This is exactly what you don't want to do. If the MPA actually did have feelings for you, you'd pretty much ruin by assuming your session with her is free. She'd think you're a jerk who is trying to rip her off,and it also make her feel incredibly awkward when she has to remind you to pay. Feelings or not, you're seeing her at her place of work and are expected to pay the agreed upon price.

It's just frustrating seeing these posts arise every so often where some Newbie gets too caught up in the session and think it's "Love" or will lead to it. There's a search function with tons of information on this very subject but too few people use it. Guys have go into these sessions in the first place realizing it's a service. Yes, a friendship is possible but a relationship is unlikely. Not impossible but highly improbable.

I told my friend that this is a job they do. They give you a relaxing massage make you feel good with a happy ending Thats what makes you come back for more. IMO I rather have a girlfriend that do not offer sex for money. Don't get me wrong I like to have some fun in my life, so I wouldn't mind paying for a good MPA if she can satisfy my needs. As for morals I don't really care. As I said earlier I like to have some fun.
