How can I get rid of the new hotmail (facebook-like) chat thing?

Ok, so MSN is obviously way more better for talking to people than facebook chat. At least those you have on your contact list.

However, hotmail seem to have introduced a new chat feature like facebook chat, only it is like MSN condensed into a facebook like chat window. =| And what's more is that it pops up automatically when someone is talking to you on MSN which makes no sense. It's annoying having the real msn then that hotmail-chat thing constantly appearing on the tab where im looking at my emails, and then the text at the top of the tab keeps changing to tell me i have a new message... when I already got that message on the proper MSN! Ugh.

Is there anyway to get rid of it? Whenever I close the chat window, it closes my msn convos too. And sometimes it will send to the chat and not MSN which is annoying. Anyone know how to stop it?
