How can we make it up to you

Upon reading some reviews of some digruntled folks, our question-of-the-day is this:

If an MPA has a session with you, and she is cold, or you are mean, or whatever; how can we make it up to you if we sense it 1/2 way through? OR how can we make it up to you the second time (if there is a second time)???

Inquiring minds want to know........

I can only speak for myself. First off I would seriously hope that I would never be mean to an MPA. If I were I hope that she would gently let me know, probably by asking me about the issue in a delicate way. As for salvaging the session, if I get the vibe and feeling like you genuinely care and it is not all an act ... well we are half way there baby ... and after that it is all just a question of chemistry and if that is there then we are more than there ... we are smokin'!

... just don't complain about how tired your wrist is!

PS are you hot? Or do you just run the MP? (I can't be bothered to do the research on all your other posts.)

As for me, I too am never mean, usually the session goes bad for me when I notice the mpa is looking at the time like it's her job and damn, she hate it. If a repeat session goes awry I do give second chances as I know then the lady was just having a bad day but the first encounter, maybe mistakenly so I do not repeat.
A while back a took Tina from Alpha ( no longer there), session was going on the boring side, she was giving me a great massage, I mean RMT style but I was worried because I do not go to MP's for the massages. Then at the END low and BEHOLD HALALUUIA she saves the session with such gusto that I cannot mention here. SO YES sessions can be saved but PS hmmmm how far are you will so stick out you ^@%$*, "wink" sorry couldn't resist!!

If you both sense it half way thru...a little dialogue might be in order...cause making up can be fun as we all know.

As for the second visit...to be remembered is nice...I don't think you should feel you have to do extra (outside your normal boundaries) to make up for an early problem.

Laughter is always good. If an MPA and client can share a laugh over "miss-steps" , his or hers...then guaranteed a great session and repeat visits.

If the MPA is having a bad day, it's probably a good idea to say something, certainly to regular clients anyway... A couple of times girls have told me that the previous session didn't go too well, and they just needed a few minutes to get back in the swing of things...

In those cases I've started off with the REVERSE, to let them relax... It's paid off big time I might add ;-) LOL

With regards to a new client, where you don't know each other or perhaps WHY the other person is quiet, it's probably better just to let the session run it's natural course...

Unfortunately the MPA really has no control IF the client will book a second appointment, so why stress over it ???

I suspect that many "disappointing" sessions from a client's perspective are due to PERCEIVED mileage...

IE>> a girl in theory offers something to another client but not me, and we only have 10 minutes left...

This one is tricky after the session has already started. But, setting the expectations early is a very good start.

Example 1: 1st visit with a top named MPA that just announced retirement. Had a session book for the end of the night (45 minutes). She was 15 minutes late but was appologetic. Asked if 30 minutes was OK or should we reschedule right then and there for another time (went for the session). Informed me upfront that she was on her period and that she normally looks better. Normally, signs of a bad session but she gave me an option to back out and I knew the limits right away.

Example 2: 1st time with another very popular attendant on this board and got greated with a hug and a peck on the cheek. Nice touch but also sets the stage that the client should be a gentlemen and see what is to follow.

After the session has started:

If the attendant is going to be cold then a repeat visit will likely never happen. If she's moody the client will sense it and it's unlikely that he'll repeat. That doesn't mean the experience can not be salvaged. Letting the client massage her (per INDN_LOVER) will help with some clients but not all.

Another way will be harder to swallow (figuratively) but may require the MPA to be humble and say "sorry, I've been having a bad day". From there she can down-sell saying a N may be more in order then a NR or BS. This may give the client the feeling that she isn't money hungry and is just really having a bad day. It may get the client to repeat to see what a "good day" is like. If the client does go for a NR or BS maybe giving him back a few bucks will be in order saying that this session wasn't up to her usual standards and he shouldn't have to pay full price. This hit's the pocket book at that moment but may get the guy to come back. No client likes feeling "Ripped-Off" and giving a discount can dispell that feeling a bit.

PS. sometimes it's not your fault that the session does not go well. Most MPAs I know have a great range of men that they can click with but once in a while we fall out of range. I have had experiences with a few MPA that have great reviews that have not been good personally. I just figure that we do not work well together and move on to the next one.

BUT...

If you want to hold on to a particular client here is one guaranteed way to get him to return.
1. explain to him that the session was not your norm and that things should have been better.
2. give him a clue as to what turn you on and ask him to do it (if possible at an MP) on his next visit.

You'll end up fulfilling both your needs on a guaranteed next visit!

In my massage experiences, I never been once mean to a MPA. However, I've gotten a few cold shoulder's from their side. Usually, when I find that the attendant is cold, it is not due to having a bad day or a bad experience from a previous client. It has more to do with their personality and attitude toward's the job. If the attendant has an attitude problem, there is no way to fix it, even half-way thru the session. Clients just have to live with it till the end and don't repeat with her again.

It's very hard to be mean in a session ,when you are spending your time and money there.I've never ever been mean.Sometimes at the start of a session the attendent give you some kind of a bad vibe or sometimes you can sense it that htey are not into it by their body language .If it happenes to me in a session,i usually stay polite and wait for the session to finish and usually never repeat with that attendant.Sometimes it takes a lil while for an attendent to get into the rhythm (especially with a new client) so some sessions can always be salvaged.

Ok guys, some of you have given great advice, in fact some things to think about. But I think we should arrange "TRADE WITH YOUR MPA DAY" (like highschoolers do when they go to work with mommy/daddy)

It's apparently NOT hard for a guy to be an ass in a session, but there are days when they all flock in at once. (granted there are days without one)

I doubt FREE sessions are an option. We work to make $$$, not cuz we're horny. (That's just a perk of the job) But if we find out the guy was unhappy (like with a massageplanet.net review) do you ever think you should wait a few months and try again?? Perhaps we've learned a thing or 2 since the bad one. Especially if she gets a few good reviews?!

A few good reviews would all depend on the reviewers, well known reviewers maybe, especially if the mpa was smokin.

But how exactly does a guy be an ass? Please give some examples so that we might learn to avoid them. Do you think that an MPA can be an ass too? Yes, it goes both ways.


Yeah I was ROTFLMAO at that one too. And the same goes for mileage. Hey guys if you want mileage, go to where you know that you can reliably get mileage, don't be pressuring and rude to an MPA because of that.

However a number of MPAs try to get a guy to finish the job themselves. WTF is up with that?!?

If I get the cold shoulder from an attendant and there's no indication that she's just having a bad day the first conclusion I'm going to jump to is that she's always COLD. In that case I'll never repeat. Everybody has a bad day and I can forgive that if I know upfront.

From my example 1 in my last post the attendant told me outright about the type of day she's having. Armed with that knowledge upfront I knew I had the option of taking a lessor option session and saving a few bucks. Given that she made it clear it was her and not me I did repeat with her.

No client wants to be with an attendant that doesn't want to be with them (or at least can act as if they do). It's all about that first impression just as it is in everyday life. It's hard to change a first impression and if it's going to cost us money then we'd take the risk of a good/lousy session elsewhere next time. Why sink more $$$ on an attendant that has already proven to be COLD?

Now, I'd like to think I'm one of the better clients that attendants want to make a regular. But, when it comes to the jerk clients then it's up to the attendants discression on whether or not you want to be nice to him and get him to repeat.

Well... see, the thing is... unless I can be sure otherwise, the default assumption is that the young lady doesn't want to see ME (the whole YMMV thing).... and the passage of time, or good reviews from others doesn't really affect that. She'd need to convince me that she wants MY company (...but, then again, I have no idea how she'd go about doing that either...).

Whats that they say - first impressions are lasting impressions, and at almost/upto $200 a pop I'd rather find another.

For more info, most of my bad sessions were just bad because of lack of talent. Mr. Happy doesn't like to be abused, and photo misrepresentation.

Gotta agree with NorthPole. Ther are thousands of MPA's in the area. I figure I've seen around 60 of them in the last 2 years. If they are "no good" on my first visit, then I don't return.
It is NOT a matter of mileage. My current fave MPA did her best to talk me out of our first session by assuring me she was not high mileage. I told her whom I had seen last time I was there, because she asked me about while showing me to the room.
I declined her offer to send in another lady, and had a great session with her. I returned the next week, and pretty much every week this summer. It's her attitude and her body that keep me coming back.
