How Much to Charge for Creams

I made some cream up for a friend to try and she would like me to make her some more for a christmas gift along with some bubble bath and foot cream.
I have no idea how much to charge her for each item. Any ideas.
Also when you do a massage for a member of your family how much do you charge them.

I really struggled with this when I started in business, but I have found that it's easier to charge a friend the same price that you would charge a stranger. This way everyone knows where they stand and your time won't be taken up working for less than you should. I always ask friends and family for their opinions when I'm creating new products, so they do sometimes get to test things for free.

It is hard to charge family and friends but I agree with Soapwitch, that way everyone knows where they stand and it is a business after all.

I wouldn't go too low in terms of cost - don't undervalue yourself. You've bought all the ingredients, oils, bases, bottles, jars etc AND used your valuable time to make them up.

I charge £8.50 for my potions - I put them all in beautiful glass bottles and boxes so they look lush. I think if you charge too low a price people might think they are poor quality imho!!
