I have a few people who IM the second I get on Facebook and I feel I have to answer because I don't wanna be rude. If I get to it quick enough I just click unavailable to chat but how can I make it so they won't see me before that?
 
I don't think you can appear offline the second you log on Facebook but you can appear offline . When you log on Facebook , just remember to make yourself offline , or put those people you don't want to talk to in a group and you can choose to let them or not let them see you online .
