Ifpa/ifa cpd

Hi,
what CPD have aromatherapists submitted this year?
I am really struggling to find suitable courses for my CPD, anything I am interested in seems ti be miles and miles away...often costing more in travelling time and expense than the actual course itself. I am becoming very peed off about it now if fact!
i have seen courses in Filey and hbeden bridge, but I live in York!!!
where do people find out about courses?

There is an excellent Embody group that meets in Hurst Hall, Border Rd, Strensll,York next meeting Sun 22nd March 5.30-7.30 on "Reverse Therapy" each meeting earns you 2 cpd points,

The CPD I submitted was attendance at Conference and various lectures following the AGM; attendance at a days course run by the IFA; 40 hours voluntary work as a complementary therapist for a Charity.

i didnt realise that voluntary work counted as CPD?

I did not relise that voluntry work counts as cppd points, how many points do you get for voluntry work???

I think it's one point for each hour (that's the IFA). You also get points for buying aromatherapy books, trade journals, writing articles, giving workshops and talks.

Are you with the IFA Froggy and kookykel if you are not you need to abide by the list according to your association.
