Is it true that someone can be reported for chat countless times and not

have their Y!A account banned? I read this on a question once, so I thought I'd ask about it. One Y!A member said a person can be reported for chat but no matter how many times they are, their account will not be banned. They said because it is a minor offense. Is this true? (And don't worry, I'm not going to ty it! lol)

Getting suspended depends on the severity of the violation, a really bad one like terms of service can get you suspended immediately or minor ones like chatting it will take quite a few unless you get many very quickly in short space of time.
Any time you get a violation notice it is a warning that your account is in jeopardy.
When a user is SUSPENDED for violating the Community Guidelines, their Yahoo! Answers account is disabled.
They can still browse the website, but they cannot ask questions, or answers questions on the site.
All Suspensions are permanent. You can only get your account back if you appeal for your account and your appeal is accepted, and that happens only when you are Suspended by a false violation, but most of the time, the appeals are declined, and so almost no one ever get their accounts back.

Sometimes you can get suspended with no violations at all,it depends on your answers,i know some people has been suspended with no Violations,and people have more than 50 violations and their accounts still safe.
Getting suspended depends on what kind of violations you have,for example "Adult or Harassement Contents" or other VERY bad and srious violations can lead you straight away to get suspended,,so you need to behave your self in your answers and always follow the community guidelines.
However small simple violations like "Chatting" or "Questions and Answers Formats" don't lead right away to get suspended and it would take some time. If you got a huge amount of violations (No matter what it is) in a very small time,then you have a big chance of getting suspended (For example if you got over 30 Violations in one or two hours,then you have a very BIG chance of Losing your account).

Getting violations is also a warning that your account is in danger (everyones accounts are on danger if our questions and answers violate the community guidelines)...this means "No chatting, no insulting other users, no asking questions about users.....ETC because Y!A is not a chat room

You need to put in your mind that getting suspended is permanent,you can try and send a message to Y!A asking them to appeal your account back,but it's a very risky move since 85% might decline it,but you can always give it a try

PS:VERY bad answers such as Cussing, Posting very bad pictures...ETC can lead you straight to suspended + You will lose your Acound ID as well
