yeah my advice would be if you want to get laid a lot in asia for cheap, better go to thailand or philippines. u can get there a beauty for only $ 100 all night. $25 a ugly whore. in japan, prices for sex are extremely higher, but i think no where else u will find a sex market like in japan, u can go to kabukicho in shinjuku and u will find a girl from almost every country in the world: russians, koreans, even american prostitutes, etc. and u can go into every sex area, costume, masochism, pregnant, teenagers, anime, etc but well some will even try to charge you $300 for only one hour, which is a big difference and if you want a really japanese beauty, well prepare $500 or more.

yokohama has a red district that is very small but where u can get laid for 100 dollars. but most of the girls there are chinese and koreans.

of course, if you have good attitude and playboy skills, the cheapest and easiest is to go to ropongi and try to pick up a girl for free as everyone does...

To me, no.

There are much better countries where for much less money you can do a lot more with a lot less hassle.

The only thing you can get in Japan that you won't as easily be able to find elsewhere is Japanese women. So if that's your thing, go for it.

Having said that, even if you're on a business trip - drop into 911 or a similar place in Roppongi and you'd have to be pretty darn old and ugly not to be able to pick up a bird for free.

Okay so I'm planning a trip to Japan.....and although sex touring is not on the main menu of items I wish to complete while I'm there...I am always open to the possiblity of tasting the local talent...

But then I find site like this one...and you read the reports (chronolgically) and I'm wondering if there is any point in looking for "lovin" anymore...

I read a lot of well written articles about getting off on a JR station, walking a block and running into a whole legion of sexy japanese girls getting ready to get hired....then in more recent articles, I read that there are hardcore police crackdowns on prostitution everywhere...espeically in neighbourhoods where they are well-known hot-spots....

Of course I can't see prostitution completely gone, but certainly it was made difficult and even more difficult for "foreingers"....if we can even find a worker who will work on a foreigner, that person would have to pay through the nose to get her even for a 1/2 hour...

so the question is....is there a point to it, at all?....It sounds to me that japan isn't a great place to go if you are sex tourist...even a mild one....
