Psychics abilities come from demons. The following story from the NT shows that their power comes from demons. When Paul cast the spirit (demon) out of this woman she lost her ability to read fortunes anymore.

Acts 16:16-20, "And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour. And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers, And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city."

The Bible also has examples of demons taking over people and controlling them. And if you doubt demons ever possess people, below is a link to an article where clinical psychiatrists documented a case of demonic possession in one of their patients due to all the paranormal activity, including levitation.

The article notes that the patient told the psychiatrists personal things about the psychiatric team members that she would have no possible way of knowing.
