I believe that Ginger Wellness is NOT licensed. I read in the Toronto Star that they've been charged several times now with Common Bawdy House charges. (In fact, someone posted a link today on massageplanet.net from the Toronto Star about that, and Ginger Wellness was mentioned in the article). However, they are still operating, just with a "different" owner. Probably, the previous owner was charged and not allowed to be on the premesis again. In order to re-open the place, all they need to do is change the name of the owner and pretend the place has been sold to someone else. Health International is the same. They've also been mentioned in the Toronto Star articles along with Blue Moon as well. That's why it's driving the LE nuts. Seems like the owners are getting smarter. They've found a loophole in their system. Owners that's been charged can put their wives/husbands name as the "new owner", then if they get charged too, they can put their son's name, then their daughter's name, then their mom's name, dad's name, etc.. By that time, it's already 10 years later. That's why it's so difficult for LE to shut anyplace down. It just doesn't happen. I know this one owner who once said, "the only way i'll close down is if I'm dead or in jail and they threw away the key." But this is Canada so they cannot do that. That's why these places are still around. A place can be charged Common Bawdy House 50 times and they can still operate.
