So... going to check out this spot at Metro Square today. I assume it's 100% legit, which is fine for me. But which attendants give the best massages? I'm going to assume that no one there speaks english well. I'll almost certainly just do walk in unless there's a recommendation to book someone.

So I went to J&C today. The place smells of traditional Chinese medicine. Not super well maintained as some others, but it seemed busy enough..? There was 3 attendants I think. Baicao wellness near Alton towers is newer and looks better.

I got Kate and she asked me if there’s anything I needed to focus on. Told her my traps and lats and hamstrings. Omfg that woman is strong. I think she pretty much cracked every joint in my body. Including my ankles, toes and fingers. I suspect her fore arms are probably same size or bigger than mine.

Basically super thorough massage straight to the end. Very strong. Very deep. It hurt like a mofo. 100% would recommend if you want a deep thorough massage.

ETA: I would totally come back to see Kate. In fact, she may have displaced yoyo@serene ocean as my fav masseuse.

ETA2: the place needs updating for sure. But the girls clean it up as best as they could. The towels that cover you are washed and stored in a sealed plastic bag. Likewise the hot towels are in a bag of some sort - not sure what since I was face down. But it was placed on my back, which was really nice since it kept my back muscles warm while Kate did the legs. The towels were then used to wipe up the oil. There are no showers here.

Also, for anyone wondering about their insurance coverage.. they aren’t accepting any insurance customers right now. Supposedly their practitioners are busy enough and don’t need new clients. Do you find that hard to believe? Yeah, I do too.
