All of it not necessary. Those people HID...the were in more danger from the cops that anyone else.

These SWAT guys should be out busting crack houses or even putting more effort into finding wanted criminals rather busting up a massage parlour. Come on!!! I mean look at how much unnecessary force they used. What if those wooden rounds hit someone and killed them? I bet they would have covered it up somehow. I don't know, I agree that police should be protecting the public and all that, but this was a little excessive.

I agree the actions seemed excessive. However before condeming a country for what you preceive excessive police action you might do some follow up and get all the details. Yet still saying the US is less democratic? Now that is hate talking.

The video looks like a thriller movie, in a Police State, where there is No Democracy nor any Human Rights or Dignity is protected. Rather Disgusting.

It's another case of American overkill. It seems to me these guys just look for any excuse to destroy property and humiliate people. They think by doing this type of behaviour somehow it makes them more important in the eyes of others and themselves, but in most cases when people see this they are disgusted. After this, you can almost imagine the police congradulating each other, hitting each others hands and saying "yah, we are the man, oh yah, ock, ock, ock" more matcho bullshit, from a police state mentality. With each passing day, I think the Americian people are seeing more and more of their freedoms being eroded by big bother the government under the guise of "war on terror". The average American just doesn't get it, maybe too caught up on pride. Soon it may become as on "Blade Runner" You are either one of us or you are one of "The Little People".

I can think of a half dozen different non destructive ways they could have got this guy they were looking for.

How be they just wait outside in a plain cars have a smoke, and wait for him to come out and then arrest him? Or, one of the police goes in for a massage, look around to see if the guy is there, and ask about prices, and then leaves and waits outside? Turns out the only guys in there was the owner and the security guard and 9 women. Talk about stupidity.

This action is all about making the police feel important, the other is just the aftermath of the action. A disgusting display.

One can only hope that our police in Canada, are more attuned to the needs of the people and not the other way around. It's not the police uniform that gets the respect, but the actions taken by the people within the uniform. Time will tell how it will work out here in Canada.

It's all about dominance and control with these fuckers. I hate cops in general. We need these assholes to protect us from bigger assholes (real crooks, not sex workers or sex seekers) but the less I see of them the better I feel.

I saw one of these cop shows where they did a sting operation in a motel busting johns.

Once the deal was done, the cops would burst through the doors of the room from the main entrance, the balcony, and the adjacent room. Some poor schmuck in there would get the full Paublo Escobar treatment.

You basically had a bunch of fat red neck cops named Earl making each other feel important. (They had nothing better to do I guess.)

At the end of the episode, they were actually congratulaing each other (seriously) for a job well done.

As Lucky Gary says "Each day the American people are seeing more and more of their freedoms eroded..."- yes, it's too bad about the Americans. They fought a war to free themselves from an English monarch, and yet we in Canada, with more respect for traditional authority, are actually freer in the end. But then, we don't have anything to prove to the rest of the world. For that we're lucky.
