Life in Edmonton Alberta?

Could you please guide me to the best community in Edmonton for an East Indian family moving from Vancouver. We have 2 school going kids so we need a good catholic elementary school, with access to a leisure centre, library, church, shopping and access to a clinic or hospital.
I have to find work as a HR assistant or admin assistant, and do courses or join a bank asap, hubby has work already

I guess it's Mill Woods. But keep in mind that being an Indian in Mill Woods is kind of cleche.

I used to live in Sherwood Park (which I recommend if you can afford it) and we'd always joke that you can't live in Mill Woods without speaking Punjabi.

There are many great neighbourhoods in Edmonton. One that you should look at early on is Mill Woods, for having all the amenities you describe as well as many good Indian restaurants.

You haven't mentioned employment or commuting. Mill Woods is quite far south of downtown, and there is no LRT line there yet but there are a lot of buses.

Millwoods is great! They have a rec center, hospital, mall type thing and many schools and churches.
