Hi all,
I've been booked by Alnwick Gardens, Northumberland to present a 2 hour session on L & P. Lotions and Potions inspires people in many different ways.
I have done quitea few of these in the community, where the attenders do the session for free as it is funded, and was going to do very similar to what I usually do, but.....
I've just found out that they are charging each person £10 and feel that I need to pull out all the stops to make it worth every penny.
* I usually start with an aromatherapy talk, get people to smell the oils and think about what aroma/mood they want.
* I then go on to talk about the properties of the base products, eg salt, etc.
* I then demo making an aromatherapy bath salt mix with essential oils and botanicals, package it prettily and then get the attenders to do their own thing.
* I would then demo a body scrub or something similar.
At the end of the session they would all have made a bag of bath salts and a jar of body scrub to take home.
so,
if you were going to a wonderful place like Alnwick to do a L & P workshop, and pay £10 for the privilege, what would you expect for your money.
