making lipgloss

I'm doing these in separate posts so people won't be confused.
I have a recipe to make lipgloss using beeswax, EO's & CO's. Just like w/ the mouthwash question, how can you increase the shelf life? Again, no alcohol. What would be the shelf life of using just those ingredients? I buy a homemade lipgloss from our local health store & she only has those ingredients. I don't have her number so can't call & I'm not sure if she would divulge her formula anyways. But she would have to do something so they lasted in the lipgloss tubes in order to sell them.
Again, any help would be appreciated!!
