Making my own natural talc - shaker bottles?

I have been making my own natural talc for family and friends and wondered if anyone knows whereabouts I can buy shaker bottles for dispensing the talc?

Any ideas would be gratefully received

Ooooh I bet you're using rice flour or some such. That's what I used when I was making my own natural "talc". It's really fine, and leaves your skin nice and soft without the fear of harmful metals or cancer scares etc. I used to fragrance it with dried lavender heads from my garden. Smelled lovely. I'm going to have to make some more now!!

Supermummy, I didn't use a shaker. I put the "talc" in little pots and applied it with a powder puff - like they did in the old days!! Made me feel very glamourous!!

Whilst the postage looks scary as it's courier prices, if you phone your order up and explain you only want one thing they will use royal mail, so you don't get ripped off!

You also sometimes get them on ebay, people having bought a wodge and now not using them

Thanks for the tips, especially using rice flour or tapioca flour. I have been using cornstarch and I find the texture a bit wierd. Also fragrancing with lavender from the garden is a great idea. I found using essential oils a bit difficult as it tended to go a bit cloggy, tried adding to a cotton wool ball and putting this in the mix and it did work better.

If you add lavender do you just leave big stems in or do you grind it down?

For the sake of asthetics, I only put the dried lavender heads in, as putting bits of the stalks in as well made it look a bit messy. Once dried though, the heads are easy to remove. I didn't grind them, tho, just left them whole.
