A 20-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday, April 16, in connection with the alleged armed robberies of two massage parlors in Thurston County.

The massage parlors, whose names were not disclosed, are located in Olympia and Lacey, the Lacey Police Department said in a social media post.

"Video confirmed that the same male was the suspect in both (robberies) and Olympia & Lacey Detectives were able to identify the 20 year old male," the Lacey Police Department said.

"Yesterday (April 16), we teamed up with our friends at Olympia Police Departmen and a combination of patrol, CRU and detectives took the suspect in to custody."

Several firearms were recovered, as well as a balaclava (a ski mask) and the sweatshirt the suspect was seen wearing in the video of the Lacey incident.

The suspect, whose name was not released, was booked into jail for robbery in the first degree and assault in the first degree.

"Great work to all involved for getting this dangerous criminal off the street!" the Lacey Police Department said.
