LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A Louisville man accused of leaving his child in a hot car while going to exchange drugs for a back massage is facing charges.
Around 6 p.m. Thursday, a neighbor found a child locked inside a car that was turned off with the windows rolled up on Virginia Avenue. By the time the firefighters arrived, the child was screaming and banging on the windows.
An arrest report said Cole Timberlake then walked up and asked about the child. Police said Timberlake admitted to leaving the child in the car while running errands and looking for a back massage in exchange for drugs.
Police found drugs and paraphernalia on him.
Timberlake has been charged with wanton endangerment and two counts of possession.
