hi everyone can anyone suggest the best reasonably priced massage couch as im starting my case studies at the end of the month any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried Ebay? There have been some bargains on there. Also - "Sally", the nationwide hair/beauty salon supply stores - they have reasonably priced folding couches (one of my clients has one, and uses a folded single duvet as a mattress under the couch cover - otherwise it is a bit too hard for some of her clientele).

My teacher advised a Darley couch as a good choice. I managed to get one on gumtree, someone was selling one second hand near where I live.

Otherwise, she suggested that things to look for are metal legs rather than wooden (for sturdiness), a raising head and either a face hole or a face hole attachment.

Darley have gone out of business.
I have a couch with wooden legs - it can hold up to 500lbs - and one with metal legs which can only tolerate 250lbs - depends on the make - always check the small print!

I got mine off ebay from a company called therapy tables

I love my new couch, it is soo much lighter than my old couch and it came with a great carry case with wheels that go where you want them to
