A 40-year-old massage parlor owner in Mission Viejo was arrested Thursday morning, July 27, on suspicion of sexual battery against a customer, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department said Friday.
In May, a 37-year-old woman reported to deputies that Qing Dai of Mission Viejo, who owns Sunny’s Massage, sexually assaulted her during her one-hour session, Lt Lane Lagaret said in a statement.

Detectives began looking into Dai, and on June 15, deputies took a report of another woman who said she was sexually assaulted by the masseur. During their investigation, detectives discovered “two prior customers from Sunny’s Massage had come forward with similar allegations,” Lagaret said in the statement.
Dai was arrested around 11:30 a.m. Thursday and booked on one count into Orange County Jail on $500 bail, Lagaret said. He made bail that evening. Other counts could be added by the District Attorney’s Office.
Dai has owned Sunny’s since 2013, Lagaret said. Sunny’s is at 24000 Alicia Parkway, Suite 32, in Mission Viejo.
