MP Review: Utopia

It's been a while since I visited an MP or logged on to this board but given my recent experience at Utopia, I felt it necessary to make a post.

The good stuff first:

Nice looking place. Very clean.
Melissa's pictures online don't even begin to do her justice. When I saw her at the front desk, my jaw just about hit the floor. Very friendly and ease-going.

That's unfornately where the good stuff ends.

I can't stand places that make the girls come out one at a time and say hello. It must make them feel horrible and it's no surprise that the girls I saw barely looked at me before darting back out of sight. I suggest a simple photo album at the front desk.

I was quoted $130 for a half hour and was strongly urged to take the 45 min massage at $160. Thinking that even $130 was a bit more than I remember paying at other places, I took the half hour massage. Perhaps this was my mistake.

I was shown to the room and asked to prepare. At this time, I looked around the room and noticed a clock on the wall above the table. It read 10pm. I disrobed, grabbed a shower and waited. When she returned, I asked if I could be shown the washroom. After I returned, I waited some more. When she got back, she gave me a slow back massage before asking if I'd like to give her one. I did. Just about the time when I expected her to turn over, she announced that my time was almost up and that we'd better finish up.

Not wanting to complain, I did as I was told and got back on the table. About three minutes later I was back in the shower.

At 10:35pm I noted the time on my car stereo as I drove out of the parking lot.

Now, maybe I've just been out of it for a while but since when does the massage start the minute you step into the room and end when you walk out the door? When I get a massage from my RMT, it starts when her hands touch me and ends when she leaves me to relax before getting dressed.

I checked the website when I returned home and saw that a NR is posted at only $90 and apparently what I received was a Delux Session.

I know I've given a lot of details here - let me know if it was too much as I did read the newbies guide throughly - but I'd like to hear some feedback on this review. Is this normal? Do I expect too much? Or is this normal for this MP?

When I was last there the receptionist made a point to tell me that the session didn't start until the attendant arrived in the room and that if she tried to short change me on time to mention it to her, I guess they have stopped telling the clients that. I was also given a list of services and their respective prices. If this is the way they have changed, then maybe it will be a long time before I go back.

When you say Melissa's online pics didn't do her justice, I assume you check the sight before going as well. Did you not check the rates for what you wanted then??

I'm fairly certain the MPA is on the clock when she walks in. You said you went to the john after she got there...don't know how long you took, but it probably did take away from her time with you. Since this was after your shower, did you have to dress to go to the washroom? I don't remember if Utopia has robes available?

When she announced the time, not knowing if you are a slow finish or not, she probably wanted to be sure she got the finish in. Myself, I usually take from 10 to 15 minutes to finish, but I always tell the girl ahead of time. But if she starts with 15 left and I finish in 10, it's usually over at that time when she goes over to wash.

Overall though, you did pay for a deluxe and, at best, got a NR....so you did overpay for what you got. But with the potty break within the short time you paid for, perhaps getting redressed and undressed again, it probably seemed a lot shorter.

Utopia is the ultimate rip off mp. I suggest a boycott as well. Oh and Melissa is the queen of the quick massage.

I did check the website quickly before I left but forgot to check the rates section. Oh, and the potty break was quick.

I did forget to mention a couple of nice things...

At the end, she helped clean up with a hot face cloth. I love it when they do that.

And another thing... The full fee was paid at the front desk in advance. None of this pay a room fee and then get a surprise when you find out how much the rest costs. I wish all places worked like that. I was thinking of visiting HFH but the rates posted on their website are obviously just room fees. Still, with all the good reviews, I think I'll take my chances.

Boycott??
I'm in. Whenever a fellow massageplanet.netite has been ripped off at a MP I stay away. I'm not swimming in $$$ so I feel that if I'm gonna drop a pretty penny for a relatively short period of time I'm gonna do it properly. Shit, since our buddy Tinop (where'd he go?) got the run-a-round at BP over a year ago I haven't even considered it, and judging by the reviews of this place since... I've made the right choice!

NOTE TO MANAGEMENT OF ALL MPs: Make very sure that the ladies that you hire are not only good looking, but also...
- couteous (reception and in the room.. evven if they're faking)
- honest (we know when we're being ripped off)
- and that they know the service that they are providing (this means the difference between a NR and BS, as well as the fact that it is a fantasy that does have LEGAL LIMITS!!!)

Side note: Too bad about this boycott, I really enjoyed the sessions with Savannah. Oh well, guess Utopia may have to shape things up or the few stars that they do have will up and head about a mile south.
Another Side Note: Why does Utopia charge more than a place like SRM?? Maybe by at least being on-par they may be able to clean house and attract more clients.

Funny you mentioned this! I was in Utopia last week, and the MPA that I saw did give me a great NR session. But at the end of the massage, I told her that I might have to come back and try a Bodyslide session. I went on to say that I usually don't get BS massages because many of the girls don't really know the difference between the two and it's not worth the money. This particular MPA actually said right to my face that there wasn't really a difference, except that in a bodyslide, the girl gets up on the table and rubs you up and down a little bit!! I couldn't believe it!! Here we are, getting prodded and pressured at the front desk of Utopia to get a "Deluxe" session, and then I ask one of their MPA's exactly what is involved in a bodyslide/deluxe, and she thinks it is the same as a NR! Just incredible!

Actually, when I phone Utopia to book a massage, the conversation always goes like this:

Utopia: Hello, Utopia massage...

Deedles: Hi there, I would like to book an appointment with so and so.....

Utopia: OK, sure, at what time?

Deedles: I'd like to book a 3 o'clock appointment

Utopia: OK great, and is that a deluxe session you'll be having?

Deedles: Oh, um, well I would just actually like to book a half hour massage.

Utopia: A half hour? OK, that's no problem. And it's the deluxe session that you want?

Deedles: I'll just decide when I get there

Utopia: Oh, well alright. We'll see you at 3 o'clock. If you have to cancel or you are going to be late, can you please give us a call?

Deedles: sure, no problem

Utopia: Thank you, goodbye

I havent gone there for as long as I can remember for that very reason....a whole lot of stupid little nit picky rules and inuendeau that just put a serious damper on the whole experience...there may be nice ladies there....but....I wont be seeing them unless they work somewhere else!

Like I said before, this place has got to be one of the worst establishments when it comes to costumer service. Case in point, called them up the other night to make an appointment with Lexis, imho pretty girl but not the right attitude for the business, way too many restriction, even heard some of the girls complain she can be right down bi-atchy within their circle. Anyways upon my arrival 20 minutes later, one of the other attendants greets me and puts on one of the lamest acts I

You know, I REALLY try to give the girls and establishments the benefit of the doubt, but Utopia tried to pull a bait and switch on me before my last appointment with Savannah....

I called at 8:00PM for a 10:00 PM appt, and was asked if 10:15 was OK.... sure, I responded, thinking an extra 15 minutes won't kill me or Mr. Happy...

Well, I arrive at the appointed time and was told that Savannah "just went in" and would I be interested in seeing another girl.... Now, when I book with a specific girl it's coz I want to spend time with HER.... Every girl has their own unique charms and when you're in the mood , you're in the mood....

So I sat on the couch and watched TV for a while... a couple of the other MPA's came out (who shall remain nameless), ignored me, then FLIPPED CHANNELS without so much as an "excuse me..."

Wait a second, isn't this TV for the clients ???

Anyway, I finally had my 10:15 apt with Savannah at 11:15, and while she apologized I told her bluntly that Utopia had a reputation on massageplanet.net for bait and switch, the FIRST time I've mentioned our illustrious brotherhood in a session ...

Hopefully she passed the message along to management ;-)

I would just walk out ... this place never learns and treats their clients like shit, and guess what, we keep coming back ... we keep writing threads ... and another member gets robbed ... boycott the place ? I think most members have already ... besides the owner will never learn, the habit is already there.

My experience...

Previously burnt by this place twice on the Delux and B&S, the third time I waited 30 minutes and left, with the receptionist telling me to "F" off and asking me to give her $20 for cancelling, WTF, you make me wait and then charge me $20 ??? Paid her with my middle finger.

Well, you're right of course VBB... Had I KNOWN I'd be waiting an hour I think I'd have left, but in my own defence...

1.) Savannah's "two friends" are f*cking amazing , and she knows how to use them! LOL. Even though Utopia itself leaves alot to be desired I always have a good time with the MPA's...

2.) None of my fav girls were scheduled at SRM that night ;-)
